Have you seen this man?

flippin' slow news day! My better half said I should post this. "It'll be fun!", she says.

I've vaguely heard about this american idol show. It's some sort of rock star popularity contest? Just the name of the show creeps me out - idol.

The mug shot is some local talent not voted off the island yet, and my company is printing up some posters for his - sister/girlfriend/aunt? - I'm not sure who - so she can rally the home folks to keep her boy afloat long enough so he can claim the hoodoo from the tribal council, or something....

My honey's giving me the evil eye so, Vote for David. Yeehaw.

This just in: frost warning in H3LL !

KC Royals win season opener! 5-4!!
On the road!
Against Detroit.
Great joy in mudville!!
Tigers deemed laughing stock of big show.

OK. Maybe not.

Apparently, the Tigers hefty $138 million payroll and Miss America could not rescue them from the hapless KC Royals- one of the worst teams in MLB last year.

Family renews lawsuit against MySpace over sex assault

It's a cruel world. And the horrible trauma you suffered is tragic, but other people can't be held responsible for your lies & poor judgment - teenage girl or not.

The girl, identified as Julie Doe in court papers, was 13 when she created a MySpace profile in 2005. MySpace requires users to be at least 14, but the girl misrepresented herself as 18 years old. She was 14 when the 19-year-old male contacted her through MySpace and corresponded for several weeks before he allegedly sexually assaulted her during a meeting in Travis County, Texas, in May 2006.

A federal judge dismissed the $30 million suit in February 2007, rejecting the family's claim that MySpace has a legal duty to protect its young users from sexual predators.

No word from the court on the legal consequences to the parents for not properly monitoring their child against this wackjob on the internet.

What would the world do without parasites? lawyers

For one thing, there would be fewer pre-emptive black hole lawsuits.

"The builders of the world's biggest particle collider are being sued in federal court over fears that the experiment might create globe-gobbling black holes or never-before-seen strains of matter that would destroy the planet.

But that pales in comparison to 3M being sued because it's one inch wide scotch tape isn't. It's only .94 inches wide. The agreed upon extortion settlement fee - $700,000.00.

Jesus and Shakespeare had a few things to say about lawyers, but I'll just say this type o stuff demands a loser pays system to curtail these parasite lawyer infested shake downs.

The right to peaceably assemble & protest

Turn about is fair play. A "million fag march" (their words, not mine) took place in Topeka, KS this past Sunday as nearly 400 people gathered to protest ferd phelps and his 'church's' controversial message.

"I invited Westboro to come out and join us, but they didn't come," said Chris Love, organizer of the march. "I don't think what we're doing is going to change them. It's just time to show people that not everyone in Kansas is like the Phelps'."

Amen , brother.

And unlike some places in this world, no 'fatwa' will be issued for your criticism & protest of this preacher & his 'religion'.

Fear & loathing in the democratic socialist polit bureau

The "goracle gambit?"

In recent weeks, talk of the potential emergence of former Vice President Al Gore as a consensus candidate for the Democratic Party nomination for President has increased in volume. It would be very easy for him to put the “Al Gore scenario” to rest by simply making it clear he has absolutely no interest in the Presidency in 2008.

In subtle ways he seems to be increasing his visibility, perhaps suggesting that he is not just an innocent bystander in the political drama that continues to unfold.

Or, a far greater shift may be occuring. The goracle's mythical status, fame & persuasion with the world's 'warmer' faithful may extend far beyond the quaint, provincial notion of POTUS. My guess is he wants nothing less than to be worshiped at the obsequious alter of political correctness as a power with global impact.

Don't be evil. Or hypocrites.

Too late for googlag. And do all you goracle myrmidons feel better now?
Googlag's empty earth hour solidarity gesture of 'cyber darkness' on its home page is actually counter-productive to energy conservation - displaying black increases an LCD monitor's energy usage.

That's not all.

According to Harper’s Magazine, Google is an “energy glutton.” Check out the blueprint of their server farm in The Dalles, Oregon, home of “some of the cheapest electricity in North America.” It’s powered not by magic pixie dust (my longtime theory), but by the Columbia River. Every time you search Google Images for pre-pregnancy Britney pics, God kills a kitten and Google kills a salmon.
But wait! There's more.
Google and its competitors have now started building data centers in places like Lithuania, Dublin, Siberia, and Shanghai. What do all these locations have in common? Except for Lithuania, where 78% of the power will be nuclear, all of them rely on carbon-spewing energy production with lower prices and fewer controls on emissions. So much for Earth Hour, eh?
EM @ HA summed it up very nicely:
"There are many good reasons to work towards energy independence and the reduction of emissions from hydrocarbon-based energy production, but no good reason to cheer for darkness. Earth Hour is just another absurdity from a movement full of them."

Pile on billary? Yes, we can! Still & again, & again...

Vendors resent Clinton's unpaid bills. Let's do some quick cipherin'... with the latest figures available - Feb., 2008.

Total sucker campaign cash raised: one hundred & seventy-three million, eight hundred & seventy-five thousand, five hundred & seventy-one dollars and fourty-one cents. Reported funds still on hand: $38 million. The fact that billary wants sit bully pulpit and ride veto pen over the world's largest multi-trillion dollar economy, yet she can't even effectively manage her own traveling democratic shell game - priceless.

The New York senator’s presidential campaign ended February with $38 million in the bank, according to a report filed last week with the Federal Election Commission, but only $16 million of that can be spent on her battle with Obama.

The rest can only be spent in the general election, if she makes it that far, and must be returned if she doesn’t. If she had paid off the $8.7 million in unpaid bills she reported as debt and had not loaned her campaign $5 million, the cash she would have had available at the end of last month to spend on television ads and other up-front expenses would have been less than $2 million.

Yup. That's who I want running my health care; and education; and small business; and retirement....

Mahdi militia rebellion revives debate for campaigns

Debate? What debate?

The heavy fighting that broke out last week as Iraqi security forces tried to oust Shiite militias from Basra is reverberating on the presidential campaign trail.
Gee. It's almost like Iran and sadr's mahdi militia planned it that way. Almost.

Al-Sadr Tells Mahdi Army To Stand Down

Monday morning update: JC at MF says this is precisely part of the problem - Iranians help reach Iraq cease-fire.
Haidar al-Abadi, a Dawa legislator who is close to al-Maliki, confirmed that Iranians played a role in the negotiations. Sadiq al-Rikabi, a senior adviser to al-Maliki, said he could not confirm or deny Iranian involvement in the deal.

"The government proved once again that Iran is a central player in Iraq," said Iraqi political analyst and former intelligence officer Ibrahim Sumydai.
From MSNBC on Sunday: Some clashes continue, but Iraq reciprocates by lifting Baghdad curfew.
BAGHDAD - Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr on Sunday ordered his fighters off the streets nationwide and called on the government to stop raids against his followers and free them from prison.

Al-Sadr’s nine-point statement was issued by his headquarters in the holy city of Najaf and broadcast through loudspeakers at Shiite mosques.

“Because of the religious responsibility, and to stop Iraqi blood being shed ... we call for an end to armed appearances in Basra and all other provinces,” al-Sadr said in a statement. “Anyone carrying a weapon and targeting government institutions will not be one of us.”
But all is not copacetic in the Iranian dominated southern province of Iraq:
Al-Sadr aide Hazem al-Araji said the fighters would not hand over guns. “The weapons of the resistance will not be delivered to the Iraqi government,” he told journalists.
The Long War Journal reported on Saturday, Mahdi Army taking significant casualties in Baghdad, South.
A look at the open source press reports from the US and Iraqi military and the established newspapers indicates 145 Mahdi Army fighters were killed, 81 were wounded, 98 were captured, and 30 surrendered during the past 36 hours.

Since the fighting began on Tuesday 358 Mahdi Army fighters were killed, 531 were wounded, 343 were captured, and 30 surrendered. The US and Iraqi security forces have killed 125 Mahdi Army fighters in Baghdad alone, while Iraqi security forces have killed 140 Mahdi fighters in Basra.

But what's the most flashy headline you read over the weekend? Iraqi army forces defect to al-Sadr. Which ledes us to EM over at HA who says the biggest loser in all of this is the 'pro-defeat-o-crat' MSM; so eager for an exploding sectarian violence-gasm that they've become a laughing stock of agitprop.
The Iraqi government had no choice but to challenge the militias for control of Basra and the surrounding areas, but they waited until the Iraqi Army had enough strength to succeed.

Did our media give anyone this context? No. They reported it as some kind of spontaneous eruption of rebellion without noting at all that a nation can hardly be considered sovereign while its own security forces cannot enter a large swath of its own territory. And in the usual defeatist tone, they reported that our mission in Iraq had failed without waiting to see what the outcome of the battle would be.
This whole sorry mess ain't over by a long shot, but I'm going to bet on a free Iraq.

A big TY to GP!

One blood - the Biblical answer to racism

~A rare Sunday post.

Ken Ham is an evangelist from Australia preaching in America. In this audio message (from 2006) he details why the Bible condemns racism, and how we are all related as brothers & sisters - with very little genetic difference.

Please note that Mr. Ham is preaching to the choir, and, though may start out slow, he builds to some interesting conclusion worthy of any debate or comments you wish to leave here. Click here for part one. Part two is here.

I smell a swarm of parasites comin'....

Nipple rings. Government. Outrage. Parasites lawyers.

That's the usual drill. Traveler Says TSA Forced Her to Remove Nipple Piercings at Texas Airport - with pliers! Now she's threatening to sue. Even though the

"TSA's Web site informs passengers that body piercing may prompt additional screening procedures and that they may be asked "to remove your body piercing in private as an alternative to a pat-down search."
I'm sure the obamanator & billary will deal with this on Monday. And isn't it illegal for a 'mature' non-hottie to sport such ta-ta bling? (mybad)

Seriously, I have no sympathy for this new age lunacy of puncturing or mutilating one’s body with shiny metal objects in a micro minature world of terrorist death and destruction. Is the TSA requirement for air travel to REMOVE ALL METAL CONTENTS FROM YOUR PERSON really all that hard to grasp…or understand why it is necessary??

Yup. The ‘nipple frisk’ is stupid, but so is checking people’s shoes. Oh. Wait….
On Nov 28, 2007, in Sri Lanka, a woman linked to the Tamil Tiger terrorist organization detonated a bomb from her bra, killing herself and one other.

Get with the program or stay off the flippin airplane!

Damn. Just damn - again.

The brutality of the AQI barbarians continues with another murder of a kidnapped contractor in Iraq.

The family of Austrian Bert Nussbaumer was notified today that their son has been identified as the 5th body recovered. Our prayers also go out the Nussbaumer family.

The final member of the kidnapped Crescent Security team, Jonathon Cote, is still unaccounted for. A British photojournalist, Richard Butler, was also abducted in Basra on Feb. 11 along with his translator. The translator was released unharmed, but the journalist has not been heard from since. Please continue to pray for these hostages and for the bereaved families of the deceased.

I'm sure the code pinko far left wackjobs will be protesting the AQI barbarians who did this crime - right after they're through telling the world how much they hate the U.S. of A. and its evil military.

Battle of the Basra pt II

Part 1 was more of an armchair military overview. In part II, Omar, from ITM, gives an Iraqi citizen's look into the people and culture which shaped this latest violence brought on by Iran's proxy army in Southern Iraq - Sadr's mahdi militia.

Another important dimension in this confrontation, largely ignored, regards Sadr’s rhetoric about security situation in Basra. The anti-Multinational Force powers always blamed British troops for insecurity in the province prior to their withdrawal.

Now it must be asked in a loud clear voice - who’s responsible for insecurity now that British troops are gone?

Darkness on the edge of town...

Or, apparently, lots o' towns. What is this madness? Turning off your lights for Earth Hour. Neanderpundit got it right (language warning). Me & the neighbors are going to rent a bunch of klieg lights for the time in question....

All charges dropped against Haditha defendant

*Charges dropped against Capt. Lucas McConnell
*Charges dropped against Lance Corporal Justin Sharratt
*Charges dropped against Sergeant Sanick Dela Cruz
*Charges dropped against Cpt. Randy stone

And now, Case dropped against Haditha defendant Lance Cpl. Stephen Tatum.

It's about flippin' time! MM has all the details.

CC: John Murtha, will ya?

Update: Pursing Holiness calls out "cold blooded killers" John Murtha and demands an apology - if not collectively (since three are still charged with horrible crimes), then how about individually? Senator? MSM?? Hello???

Speaking of 'calling out', Jason Mattera of the YAF pawned murtha on this very subject back in Sept. 2007.

The whipped hound dog look on murtha's face is priceless.

Pile on billary. Yes, we will! Again.

Saddam's agent met w/ billary to ease pre-war sanctions.

Yup, the same agent we read about yesterday who arranged the saddam hussein financed, 2002 junket to Iraq for three anti-war democratic socialists.

Muthanna Al-Hanooti, a Michigan man facing federal criminal charges of illegally working for Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi Intelligence Service says he met with Hillary Clinton at the White House in May 1996.

In a 1997 interview with this reporter, Muthanna Al-Hanooti said that at the meeting, Mrs. Clinton was “very receptive” to his request for an easing of the American sanctions on Iraq that were in place at the time. He said Mrs. Clinton “passed a message to the State Department” about the need to implement the oil-for-food deal, which was intended to allow Saddam to sell billions of dollars’ worth of oil to pay for food for Iraqi citizens.

And that's not all, folks! Muthanna Al-Hanooti is the former Executive Director of CAIR-Michigan, and ex-PR Director of LIFE - the 'charity' organization which funneled saddam's money to pay for the 2002 junket to Iraq for the three democratic socialist congressmen.

But, wait! There's more. According to Frontpage magazine:
On September 27, 2007, the (successor to Al-Hanooti & current) head of the Michigan office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Michigan), Dawud Walid, was presented with a “special recognition” award by the Mayor of Lansing, Michigan, Virg Bernero.
As you may already know, CAIR was designated by the United States government as an “unindicted co-conspirator” for a federal trial that ran from July through October of 2007, which dealt with the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas.

During the trial, the FBI provided testimony proving CAIR’s involvement with the former head of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook, in his American Palestine Committee. The government reiterated CAIR’s “affiliation” with Hamas, in a federal court brief filed in December of 2007.

As well, Walid is an active member of the North American Imams Federation (NAIF). Other members of NAIF include Mazen Mokhtar, an Al-Qaeda web designer who was indicted in April of 2007 for tax evasion and for filing false tax returns, and Siraj Wahhaj, an “unindicted co-conspirator” of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The President of NAIF is Omar Shahin, a former representative of two Hamas-related “charities,” KindHearts and the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), both of which have been shut down by the U.S. government.

Furthermore, Walid is the assistant imam of Masjid Wali Muhammad. Formerly Muhammad’s Temple No. 1, the mosque has very close ties to the Nation of Islam (NOI) and its former Supreme Minister, Elijah Muhammad, whose picture adorns the inside of the mosque.
Oh. Did I mention that the mayor of Lansing MI, Virg Bernero is a democrat?

FrontPage Magazine nailed it: We’ve long contended the terrorists could not buy better representation than the Democratic Left gives them for free. We never knew how right we were.

You can't make this stuff up...

Bomb, Iraqi currency lure FBI into stolen-car case

But the FBI says they have ruled out terrorism. I feel so much better now.

TY Jihad Watch.

Damn. Just damn.

In a tragic continuation of this story, the bodies of kidnapped & murdered contractors Josh Munns and Paul Reuben have been identified.

Prayers & well wishes go out to the family and friends of the murdered & kidnapped men. I'm sure code pinko will protest the AQI barbarians who did this crime.

Battle of the Basra

U.S. jets drop bombs in Basra.

Shiite militants also clashed with government forces for a fourth day in Iraq's oil-rich south and sporadic fighting broke out in Baghdad, despite a weekend curfew in the capital.

Sheik Al-Sadr yesterday called for a political solution to the burgeoning crisis and an end to the "shedding of Iraqi blood." But the statement, released by a close aide, stopped short of ordering his Mahdi Army militia to halt attacks.
Bill Roggio at the Long War Journal gives a brief history of this latest violence brought on by 'rogue' elements of Sadr's mahdi militia - Iran's proxy army in Southern Iraq.
Sadr's Mahdi Army has been formed by Iran's Qods Force along the lines of Lebanese Hezbollah. Imad Mugniyah, the senior Hezbollah military commander who was killed in Syria in February, was among those behind the formation and training of the Mahdi Army. Iran established the Ramazan Corps to run weapons, fighters, and support to the Special Groups, which include significant elements of Sadr's Mahdi Army.

Basrah has seen an uptick in Iranian-backed terror activity since the British withdrew from the city late last year. Political assassinations and intimidation campaigns have been on the rise as the Iranians work to extend their influence in the oil-rich city.

The Sadrist Bloc, the political arm of the Mahdi Army, has boycotted Parliament and called for general strike and civil disobedience. Muqtada al Sadr has not officially withdrawn from the self-imposed cease-fire. Mahdi Army forces have also launched mortar and rocket attacks at US and Iraqi bases in Baghdad.

The US is providing intelligence, combat support, and air assets to back Iraqi security forces in Basrah and along the Iranian border. US forces are also actively hunting the Mahdi Army cells in Baghdad conducting the mortar and rocket attacks. The clashes with the Mahdi Army come just weeks after Muqtada al Sadr admitted failure in Iraq.

Jules Crittendon in Forward Movement has a round up from around the net of 'Sadr Tidings'.
Disarming illegal militias is a legitimate act of government. Hard to know the answers to all the questions at this distance, and neither the reporting nor analysis is that good. But here it is:

The Billary (campaign) Deathwatch

When the base of your own party lugs out the ol' 'titanic' analogy is it time to invest the gynormous, gargantuan ocean of campaign cash amassed by billary (180 (corrected) million and counting!) into life preservers??

From Slate: Gauging the odds that Clinton will win the nomination.
To start off, we're putting her odds at a generous 12 percent. (Last week, a Clinton campaign official gave her one-in-10 odds.) At the moment, polls indicate that Obama has survived the Jeremiah Wright flap (for now). Clinton's Bosnia blunder has metastasized from a headache into a five-day circus. Bill Richardson finally climbed down from his fence onto Obama's side. And a Michigan court yesterday deemed the.....(click)
I don't know. The clinton's are the vlad draculas of the modern political age, striking terror in opponents and very hard to kill. And considering she is cold blooded and swims very well with sharks....

Time will tell if she is happy with her treasure trove of sucker cash or if the oval office is the real allure.

NZ man claims rape by wombat!

Arthur Cradock, 48, from the South Island town of Motueka, called police last month to tell them he was being raped by the marsupial at his home and needed urgent assistance.

The man claims the assault caused him to speak a foreign language - 'Australian'.

Update: It turns out the man was lying. (ya think??!) And alcohol was involved. Lot's of it.

I blame 'snake hooch'.

As AP at HA said, "Who will believe the real victims of wombat rape now?"

Worm. Snake. It's all 'hooch'

Vapor trail special.

A Texas man faces charges over snake vodka. The revenuers weren't all that upset over dead rattlers, but seemed to take great offense about the man not paying for a liquor license.

"I've been with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for 20 years," Sergeant Charlie Cloud said. "This is the most bizarre thing I've been involved in."

Authorities confiscated 411 bottles of the vodka, which Popplewell was selling for $23 each.

The Texas man was selling it in the Asian community of Fort Worth where snake liquor is claimed to be a 'woody' preservative. Knock 'em stiff! Want some formaldehyde that?

Darth Vader: call your office

Ok. It's no empire death star, but it still pegs the killer app badness meter at a hard eleven! If it works.

The Flying Laser Cannon: Boeing's new laser cannon can melt a hole in a tank from five miles away and 10,000 feet up—and it’s ready to fly this year.

Last December, Boeing, under contract from the Department of Defense, installed a $200-million prototype of the laser into a C-130 at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico in preparation for test flights this year. From there it will go to the Air Force for more testing, and it could be in battle within five years.

In other words, How to Melt a Tank in Three Seconds Or Less.

The continued implosion of the democratic socialist party

This time it's democratic super delegate & obamanator supporter, Puerto Rico’s governor Anibal Acevedo Vila, plus a few of his buddies who got nabbed by the feds for shifty fund raising and tax fraud.

Gov. Aníbal Acevedo Vilá is expected to be arrested Thursday and charged with six campaign related charges: conspiracy to violate election laws, making false statements, wire fraud, program fraud, conspiracy to defraud the IRS and filing a false tax return.

EM over at HA issues a damage assessment:
How badly will that hurt the Democrats? For one thing, it brings up the whole Norman Hsu story all over again. Hillary Clinton’s big fundraiser turned out to be a fraud, and now the Democrats have another crook. This follows on the heels of Eliot Spitzer’s hooker obsession and the misuse of public funds by his successor David Paterson. In terms of optics, the footage of Acevedo’s frog-march into federal custody will remind voters of the culture of corruption — and have the Democrats struggling to convince voters that they cleaned up politics.
That reminds me; have you heard the one about the frog & the scorpion?

Don't be evil

The Kansas Citian blog has a good catch on how dis-information conglomerate googlag's three multi-billionaire head honchos avoid paying U.S. taxes through an accounting sleight of hand. Hint: Their salaries are listed at $1 each & bonuses of only about $1800 each. Yup. We all believe that one.

While I applaud any individual or corporation that can legally find ways to not piss their money down the bottomless federal govt. pork trough, I find the googlag/yahoo dis-information conglomerate doubly troubling for their infamous actions of scrubbing 'conservative' search results in favor of leftist links, and how they frequently aid & abet communist regimes and their brutal dictators with censorship & information leaks in order to suppress, imprison & torture dissident citizens (most notably, China). Search this blog for 'don't be evil' and you'll see what I mean.

Obviously, it's socialism for you & me, but not for these democratic socialists.

It's not one world

I'm sure code pink will be protesting any day now. After the crickets are done chirping.

The chi-coms have sentenced a man to five years in prison for protesting against the Beijing Olympics.

I wonder if googlag or yahoo were complicit in ratting this guy out to the fascists?

More pile on billary? Yes, we will!

Oink, oink, oink alert. Or maybe it's a cat fight alert? Either way that girl is back with more boobs, barak, and billary to stump for the marxist of her heart. (safe for work tease)

I love slow news days. It's research, honey. I promise!

"Useful Idiots"

That's how PoliGazette describes the three anti-war democrats who's 2002 junket to Iraq was paid for by saddam hussein.

Prosecutors say that trip was arranged by Muthanna Al-Hanooti, a Michigan charity official, who was charged Wednesday with setting up the junket at the behest of Saddam's regime. Iraqi intelligence officials allegedly paid for the trip through an intermediary and rewarded Al-Hanooti with 2 million barrels of Iraqi oil.

Talk about bloody oil! (right, kofi?) Atlas Shrugs has the pictures and who's who? list of congressional dems snagged in this seditious sandtrap.

Pile on billary? Yes. We can!

After the USA Today/Gallup survey showed that billary is the least trustworthy or honest among the current crop of presidential nags in this race, Dick Morris highlights the facts to this visceral voter vibe in 'Hillary's List of Lies'.

TY Boortz.

San Diego bends over for the aclu - on your dime!

Did you know that the aclu receives tax dollars? Tax dollars that in turn are used to fund legal battles against tax payers?? Sounds like some kafka-esque soviet nightmare, right? Well, the aclu was founded by Roger Baldwin, a communist, with communist ideals, communist goals. Not much has changed since he started the aclu in 1920.

The extortion continues when the city council of san diego used one million tax payer dollars to fund a 'day of honor' for the aclu.

unfreekin believable!

When 'green' is all wet - or gross; or both

There's an old saying that's probably understood in any language or millenia - 'Don't sh** where you eat.'

My guess is it applies to washing your clothes, as well.

You can't make this stuff up....

Thank you, Sir! May we have another?!

Or why hollyweird bombs continually bomb at the box office.

From Libertas:

As the box-office deathwatch for Stop-Loss begins, the Washington Post takes a look back and wonders why, why! everything Hollywood’s producing about the war is tanking (well, except one movie no one wants to talk about):

This isn’t rocket science, and everyone playing dumb about the failure of Hollywood’s anti-American, pro-defeat surge isn’t at all convincing. Good Americans love this country. They respect our troops and know our mistakes don’t belong on the same scale with terrorist atrocities. These films are failing because they’re based on lies and thanks to New Media word’s getting out to audiences before they’re suckered on opening weekend.

Go read. Now. And don't give these hollweird turds anymore of your hard earned dollars for them to manufacture propaganda - which aids and abets our enemies.

For you twists out there

Enough with the emails already. Here's your dose of weird.

Two-headed ducks and blood-filled monkey masks - among other things.

Black gold. Refined tea.

"A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking about real money." - Everett Dirksen

If you're talking about the government.

RedPlanet cartoons breaks down the price of gasoline - and guess who gets the biggest slice of that pie which you & I buy??

Plus, it's no surprise that a democratic socialist wants more & more of your money....

Hillary under fire

Maybe she should go back to Bosnia.

Let's face it - this woman's political mindset is stuck in the nineties when the C.N.N. was in the clinton's back pocket, and the new internet media wasn't around to instantly fact check bubba's man sized exaggerations or hillary's potted plants. It's a brave new information age, lady. Get new parts for your head.

MM has the photo shopped funnies on Hillary's latest lie misstatement.

4,000 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq

Colin Powell is quoted as saying,

"We have gone forth from our shores repeatedly over the last hundred years and we’ve done this as recently as the last year in Afghanistan and put wonderful young men and women at risk, many of whom have lost their lives, and we have asked for nothing except enough ground to bury them in, and otherwise we have returned home.... to live our own lives in peace. But there comes a time when soft power or talking with evil will not work where, unfortunately, hard power is the only thing that works."

Death doesn't take a holiday. Neither does evil.

Not Easter; not ever. And while President Bush honors the brave men & women in uniform, who place their lives & safety in danger for the benefit of freedom loving people everywhere, the tantric BDS infants seek to exploit this 'grim milestone' of a whole number followed by several zeros in a never ending, futile attempt to satisfy their own grotesque political masturbation. Apparently, the preceding deaths weren't all that note worthy for the tantric BDS infants, but as President Bush stated, "Every life is precious."

Monday morning, TAHBYCSIFH reported no less than 430 'grim milestone' search results on yahoo, and laments,
"But, I’d take this “grim milestone” stuff a whole lot easier if only the Associated Press, the LA Times and Denver Post, the New York Times and Reuters, and all of the rest of these sorrowful news organizations which suddenly care about US casualties had been reporting the progress in Iraq all along."

Maybe when pork flies.

But good news doesn't sell papers, and it's easier for these tantric BDS infants to use these military deaths as a sick punch line for their chimpy-mchalliburton bloody-oil screed parades than to realize that these brave men & women, who gave their all, support the mission and believe in the cause. But concepts like 'Duty, Honor & Country' elude the tantric BDS infants. And the echo chamber pablum of 'speaking truth to power' insults our intelligence with 'it's only the evil neo-cons who politicize the war'.

It's not about the troops for the tantric BDS infants. It's never been about the troops - dead or alive. As billy boy is infamously quoted as writing, "I loath the military." GP tells us that under Clinton's watch, as CIC, 7500 military personnel died. No 'truth to power' there. Nope. The truth is, that power to these tantric BDS infants is to assault meek parishioners at their church; blow up symbols of what the don't like; attack those who seek to serve; disrupt others who wish to engage in civil debate; and issue death threats to those who politically disagree.

The truth is that the insulting, destructive and violent messes these tantric BDS infants leave in their wake are quelled and cleaned up (and paid for by your tax dollars) by those under-paid and over-worked 'servant' employees of the police, fire fighter, and EMT who frequently come from the ranks of the very group these tantric BDS infants love to hate - the military. Even as civilians, it's an often thankless (and teeth gritting) 'Duty, Honor & Country'. Who's the 'tolerant' ones again?

Last I looked, the hydra head of this tantric BDS snake - the code pinks; the chomskys; the reids; the sheehans; the soros'; the churchills; the kellers; the IVAWs; the cubans; the glovers; the penns; and the winter soldiers weren't being hounded by the boooshitler death squads into gulags for re-eduction - something that frequently happens in the brutal thugocracies lorded over by the fascist dictators these obtuse myrmidons love to worship!

The truth is, it's the power of U.S. military which defends to the death the rights of even the most seditious of these individuals to object, protest and insult with no more than civil disobedience penalties, or opinion pieces written in condemnation - something that doesn't happen in those brutal thugocracies. And these cowards know it, because death and terror doesn't take a holiday. Neither do the brave men & women in the U.S. military, who place their lives & safety in danger for the benefit of freedom loving people everywhere.

God bless & good luck. Our prayers & well wishes go out to the family & friends of those who have died, from any generation, in service to this country.

Does a genie sh** in his bottle?

McCain: U.S. Succeeding in Iraq

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Fresh off his eighth Iraq visit, Sen. John McCain declared that “we are succeeding” and said he would not change course.

“I’ve commented on hundreds of occasions of the sacrifice the great and brave young Americans have made in Iraq and elsewhere in the world in the struggle against radical Islamic extremism,” McCain told reporters afterward. He said a bracelet he always wears with the name of Matthew Stanley, who was killed in Iraq, is a symbol not just of his sacrifice but also of Stanley’s 4,000 fallen comrades.

“My thoughts and my prayers go out to those families every day,” McCain added.

“I’m not painting to you the most rosy scenario but I am telling you, compared to a year ago, before we started this surge, and with this great general, one of the great generals in American history, General David Petraeus, that we are succeeding in Iraq,” McCain told his audience.

Amen, brother. At least we agree on something.

I'm sure the tantric infants at d kuss/huffypoo don't agree, except on their collective addiction to regurgitate 'f bombs' & other hate speech.....

Remains of 2 U.S. Contractors Recovered in Iraq.
The remains of kidnapped contractor John Roy Young of Kansas City have been recovered in Iraq, along with those of another contractor, the FBI said Monday.

Young was one of five security contractors with Kuwait-based Crescent Security kidnapped after their trucking convoy was ambushed in southern Iraq in November 2006. Young was 44 at the time.

The FBI identified the other contractor whose remains have been recovered as Ronald Withrow of Roaring Springs, Texas. Withrow, a contractor with JPI Worldwide, was kidnapped in January 2007.

Earlier this month, U.S. officials said U.S. authorities in Baghdad had received five severed fingers belonging to Withrow and the four other contractors abducted along with Young: Jonathan Cote of Gainesville, Fla.; Joshua Munns of Redding, Calif.; Paul Johnson Reuben of Buffalo, Minn.; Bert Nussbaumer of Vienna, Austria.

The FBI said it had notified the families of Young and Withrow.

Prayers & well wishes go out to the family and friends of the murdered & kidnapped men. I'm sure code pinko will protest the AQI barbarians who did this crime.

Negative U.S. media linked to increased insurgent attacks.

Yes. It's called 'aiding & abetting the enemy'.

Periods of intense news media coverage in the United States of criticism about the war, or of polling about public opinion on the conflict, are followed by a small but quantifiable increases in the number of attacks on civilians and U.S. forces in Iraq, according to a study by.... researchers at the Kennedy School of Government.

"We find that in periods immediately after a spike in anti-resolve statements, the level of insurgent attacks increases," says the study, published earlier this month by the National Bureau of Economic Research, a leading U.S. nonprofit economic research organization.

Why are 'peace' activists so violent? PT 99

Thousands of 'peace' activists swarmed near Portland State University in Portland Oregon two weekends ago to parade down the street in protest of the Iraq war.

Not content with defecating on the Red, White & Blue; or vandalizing military recruitment offices; or threatening with violence those who disagree with them; some of those 'peace' activists advocated 'fragging' - the murder of military officers by their own troops.

(I'm sure the MSM will rail against these far left wackjob hypocrites any day now)

They don't support the troops. I do question their patriotism, and why are 'peace' activists so violent?

Missouri Air Guard pilot sues Boeing

Being a fighter pilot is a dangerous business.

ST. LOUIS, March 22 (UPI) -- An Air National Guard pilot from Missouri filed suit in U.S. District Court against Boeing Corp. after an F-15C Eagle broke apart while he was flying it.

Stilwell received serious wounds when he ejected from the plane while flying over Missouri's Dent County on Nov. 2, 2007, the report said.
Some of the nation's stockpile of seven hundred f-15s are more 25 years old.
The twin-engine, supersonic F-15 has been in service since the early 1970s and is being gradually replaced by the F-22 Raptor, the report said.

Islamic critic converts to Christianity & baptised by Pope

And, surprisingly, for some mysterious reason which bewilders the Western world, the man says his life is in danger - from islamists. How odd.

In a surprise move on Saturday night, the Pope baptised the 55-year-old, Egyptian-born (Magdi) Allam at an Easter eve service in St Peter's Basilica that was broadcast around the world.

He said before converting he had continually asked himself why someone who had struggled for what he called "moderate Islam" was then "condemned to death in the name of Islam and on the basis of a Koranic legitimisation".

Allam, the author of numerous books, said he realised that his conversion would likely procure him "another death sentence for apostasy," or the abandoning of one's faith.

But he said he was willing to risk it because he had "finally seen the light, thanks to divine grace". "I realise what I am going up against but I will confront my fate with my head high, with my back straight and the interior strength of one who is certain about his faith," said Magdi Allam.
God bless, Mr. Allam, and good luck to you, Sir. In the face of a violently aggressive antithesis to Christianity, you are a picture of true courage and an inspiration to a Europe grown accustomed to a tepid (if not timid) Christian faith.

You are a stark contrast to the obtuse relativists, and ignorant ecumenicalists which claim 'there is no truth', and, 'most religions are practically the same' -- all the while denying the precious freedom to openly say those very things without fear of reprisal, and foolishly minimizing the very real worldwide religious conflict arising from the islamists which sentence this man (and others) to death!!

What fools these obtuse relativists, and ignorant ecumenicalists be.

An Easter Message for Business

It doesn't matter if you're Catholic or not (I'm not), the Pope's call for introspection into our thoughts & actions in our life & business would greatly benefit the soul of this nation and its people.

"...As the ability to work and function in the market system is a gift from God, it must be carried out according to moral precepts. Thus, a moral code must be present and alive in everyday business life.

Every person, Christian believer or not, has by nature a sense of morality instilled by the Divine. In cartoon terms, it is the Jiminy Cricket who whispers, “Let your conscience be your guide.” But what about those who reject the gift? They can do this in the business world by corrupting the marketplace with immoral acts or by simply choosing not to work. (The word choose is key because there are people who cannot work.) Those who of their own volition do not work choose instead to rely on the labor of others. They diminish not only their own dignity but also that of those working around them.

Those who corrupt the marketplace take the gift but use it toward an illegitimate end. In such cases, the dollar becomes God. It is no longer a symbol of exchange and a useful tool but the goal in and of itself. In the Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus tells his followers not to seek only riches but a higher goal, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Mt 6:19–21).

The Seven Deadly Sins are alive & well

A little modern day political wisdom from KT McFarland. (In case you’ve forgotten, the Seven Deadly Sins are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.)

But what happened to Deadly Sin #2 – Gluttony, and Deadly Sin #3 – Greed? Are they passé?

Not in the least. It’s just that with all the flurry over Lust, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride, last week there wasn’t much room left in the headlines for Gluttony and Greed. Nonetheless, they were there, alive and well in the United States Senate. Since we didn’t hear much about it from the national media, let me fill you in.

Senator John McCain, who has for years been the nation’s most outspoken opponent of pork barrel spending, joined with a few of his colleagues to propose a one-year moratorium on earmarks. Last week, the Senate voted on it. Seventy-one Senators, most of them incumbent Democrats, voted against the ban. Only 29 voted in favor.

This is a test. Do not be alarmed.

This is only a test.

The Risen Christ

Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn Him to death and will turn Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day He will be raised to life!” (Matthew 20:17-19)

To an unbelieving world, the saving power of the cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness; for those who’ve been saved by His grace, it is the power of the living God! That saving power comes through the bodily resurrection of Christ.

Why is the risen Christ the cornerstone of the Christian faith?

This is America.

WHEN ORDERING, 'PLEASE SPEAK ENGLISH'.

Common sense; small business; and private property rights: 1 --- Obtuse pandering p.c. twits: 0

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The owner of a famous cheesesteak shop did not discriminate when he posted signs asking customers to speak English, a city panel ruled Wednesday.

In a 2-1 vote, a Commission on Human Relations panel found that two signs at Geno's Steaks telling customers, "This is America: WHEN ORDERING 'PLEASE SPEAK ENGLISH,'" do not violate the city's Fair Practices Ordinance.

Shop owner Joe Vento has said he posted the signs in October 2005 because of concerns over immigration reform and an increasing number of people in the area who could not order in English.
What's really pathetic are the obtuse pandering p.c. twits that corrode basic constitutional rights & attempt to impose this kafka-esque nonsense on otherwise decent people with far better things to do with their lives - like run a business and make a living.

What's more pathetic is the obtuse pandering p.c. twits hijacking of the English language and the demonizing of perfectly good words like 'discriminate'.

But what's most pathetic are the obtuse pandering p.c. twits that can't distinguish between those non-negotiables of acceptance & respect for other people's race & gender, and the two way street of free market choice to freely assimilate into a culture & use its language - or not. But, then again, critical thinking was never a strong suit for the obtuse pandering p.c. twits.

Another hollyweird bomb for al qaeda

Actor Ryan Phillippe says his latest film, Stop-Loss, will stand out as "it's not boring!"

Yee haw.

Phillippe goes on to say, "There’s no political agenda...."
In the movie, the Cruel Intentions actor plays a decorated war hero who's ordered back by the US army to serve in Iraq against his will.
His will? Excuse me?!
Is Stop-Loss about assimilating back home? I didn’t know it was a modern-day Best Years Of Our Lives, I thought it was about an Army deserter violating the stop-loss clause of his contract. I thought it was about a whiner who abandons his duty and forces someone else to take the slot in Iraq he won’t. Hybrid cars may affect power distribution.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn., March 19 (UPI) -- U.S. government scientists have found the increasing use of plug-in hybrid electric cars and trucks might substantially affect power distribution.

The report found in the worst-case scenario -- if all hybrid owners charged their vehicles at 5 p.m. at six kilowatts of power -- 160 large power plants would be needed nationwide to supply the extra electricity, and the demand would reduce the reserve power margins for a particular region's system.

State Fails To Shred Sensitive Documents

Another reason to get off the public teet.

An investigation by a Jefferson City TV station revealed the state of Missouri failed to shred files with names, Social Security numbers and even birth certificates. The station even found entire case files from the Department of Social Services in unsecured recycling bins. Workers are suppose to shred or witness the shredding of files. Bush Defends Iraq War in Speech

*Attention: this is an 'obamanator free' post.

President G.W. Bush - you remember him? He's the president & CIC of the U.S. of A. - gave a speech on the 5th anniversary of the Iraq war & the ouster of saddam hussein from power.

Mr. Bush, speaking before troops, officers and defense officials at the Pentagon, acknowledged in some of his bluntest language yet that the costs of the war, in lives and money, had been higher than he had anticipated — and longer.

He remained unwavering, however, in his insistence that the invasion of Iraq that began in March 2003 had made the world better and the United States safer.

“My plan to end this war will finally put pressure on Iraq’s leaders to take responsibility for their future,” he said in remarks prepared for delivery. “Because we’ve learned that when we tell Iraq’s leaders that we’ll stay as long as it takes, they take as long as they want.”

The number of troops in Iraq is at the center of the administration’s planning. The top American commander, Gen. David H. Petraeus, is scheduled to appear before Congress in early April to present his recommendations on how to continue the war after the withdrawal of the 30,000 additional troops ordered to Iraq by Mr. Bush last year.
Meanwhile, the MSM tends to skew or minimize any real gains and successes in Iraq, as noted by NewsBusters dot org.
~Pre-War Opponents: networks gave a majority of soundbites (59%) to the losing anti-war side.
~Combat Coverage: TV reporters stationed in Baghdad often passed along the enemy's unverified propaganda (Associated *w/ terrorists* Press, msnbc, rueters, et al).
~Bad news - good; Good news - bad: Out of 1,712 evening news stories, the lion's share (848, or 61%) focused on U.S. casualties, bombings, kidnappings or political setbacks, (with weeks on end, 24/7 Abu Ghraib & Haditha accusations) compared to just 245 (14%) that reported positive developments.
But wait! There's more. Six percent of the national press corps describe themselves as conservative, and the remaining 93% of nationally recognized journalists describe themselves as 'moderate to very liberal'. Of course, all reporters are completely objective in everything they write. 'scuse me while I spit!

And all of this mysteriously coincides with the ever shrinking news coverage of any thing Iraq.

Pile on obama.... yes, we can... again...

This stuff just writes itself.

From BMW: New Black Panthers Alive, Well at Obama Site.

"The parasites' Party"

The American Thinker has a great short article on why the democratic socialists are the party of parasites lawyers.

The Democratic Party has become the Lawyers' Party. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are lawyers. Bill Clinton and Michelle Obama are lawyers. John Edwards, the other former Democrat candidate for president, is a lawyer and so is his wife Elizabeth. Every Democrat nominee since 1984 went to law school (although Gore did not graduate.) Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except for Lloyd Benson, went to law school. Look at the Democrat Party in Congress: the Majority Leader in each house is a lawyer.

The Lawyers' Party sees (the wealth producers), who provide goods and services that people want, as the enemies of America. And so we have seen the procession of official enemies in the eyes of the Lawyers' Party grow. Against whom do Hillary and Obama rail? Pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains, large retail businesses, bankers and anyone producing anything of value in our nation.
Lawyers. It's the new priesthood baby! Bow down & worship at the alter of P.C. & litigation intimidation.

Here in the heartland, the ZENN (Zero Emission, No Noise) electric automobile is for sale.

OK. So it's a shoe box on wheels - with a very limited range of 45 miles per overnight charge and a less than thrilling top speed of 40 MPH (tech is working on it). China brands Dalai Lama a monster and forces students to denounce him.

(The) battle by China to reassert control over its restive Tibetan population has now drawn in students attending schools and universities in Beijing.

They are required to provide four answers, Tibetan sources told The Times. First, they must write a reply to the question “What position does the Dalai Lama occupy in your heart?” Second, they must provide the address and place of work of their parents. Third, they must give details of their own identity card. Finally, they must guarantee not to take part in any political activities.
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has branded the Dalai Lama an enemy of China and claims the Dalai Lama clique is bent on separating the Tibetan region from Chinese rule; seeking to use the period before the Beijing Olympic Games in August to foment unrest. Over 100 have died in riots since Friday and scores more imprisoned by chi-com authorities.
The protests have focused world attention on China's human rights record ahead of the Olympics, prompting discussion of a possible boycott of the Games' Aug. 8 opening ceremony and calls from U.S. officials and others for China to address Tibetans' grievances and engage in direct talks with the Dalai Lama.

Don't be hypocrites

Planned Parenthood of Idaho has apologized after an employee encouraged a telephone donation aimed at aborting black babies.

But I have to ask 'why?'

The infanticide advocate was simply following the idealogical marching orders of the racist, eugenics founder of planned parenthood, Margaret Sanger.

Sanger was a proponent of eugenics, a social philosophy which gained strong support in the United States in the early 20th century that claimed that human hereditary traits can be improved through social intervention. Methods of social intervention (targeted at those seen as "genetically unfit") advocated by eugenists have included selective breeding, sterilization, and euthanasia. In "A Plan for Peace" (1932), for example, Sanger argued for:
A stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.
Sanger promoted the idea of "race hygiene" through "negative eugenics," an attempt to reduce the fertility of "dysgenic" groups (code word for 'coloreds'). Sanger considered the unchecked multiplication of the "unfit" to be "the greatest present menace to civilization." She suggested Congress set up a special department to study population problems and appoint a "Parliament of Population." One of the main objectives of the "Population Congress" would be "to raise the level and increase the general intelligence of population."
Aborting any human being is a disgusting murderous act for any generation or race to engage in. But what is most disturbing is not that some wackjob solicited or volunteered 'targeted' donations, but that there is a dissonant thought process present in the pro-abortion crowd that somehow justifies indiscriminate donations as being acceptable - for eventually killing any unborn child of any color.

Facts from AGI - Alan Guttmacher Institute (Planned Parenthood) & CDC - Centers for Disease Control:

~40+ MILLION ABORTIONS SINCE 1973 or 4,000 each day.
~Risk to maternal health: 2.8%; Risk to fetal health: 3.3%; Rape or incest: 2.1%
~The vast majority of all abortions, (92%), are done for birth control!
~67% of abortions are from women who have never been married (how's that sex revolution thang workin' out for ya?).
~The abortion rate is highest for those women aged 18 to 19 (how's that sex ed./condoms in school thang workin' out for ya?).
~African-American women are more than 3 times as likely to have an abortion, and Hispanic women are 2.5 times as likely.

80 Tibetans killed, more imprisoned as China cracks down on protests. The Dalai Lama warns of cultural genocide and demands international investigation.
Speaking from India, the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetans, called for an international investigation into China's crackdown on demonstrators in Lhasa, which his exiled government claims left 80 people dead. China's state media has said 10 civilians were killed.

Sunday's demonstrations follow nearly a week of protests in Lhasa that escalated into violence Friday, with Tibetans attacking Chinese and torching their shops, in the longest and fiercest challenge to Chinese rule in nearly two decades.

In a sign that authorities were preparing for trouble, AP and other foreign journalists were ordered out of the Tibetan parts of Gansu and Qinghai provinces by police who told them it was for their "safety."

Complicating Beijing's task, the spreading protests fall two weeks before China's celebrations for the Beijing Olympics kick off with the start of the torch relay, which will pass through Tibet.
And, of course, disinformation conglomerate, and willing fascist conspirators Yahoo! & MSN aided & abetted the brutal chi-coms as they blacked out Tibet news.
