NY Gov. Linked to Prostitution Ring

His wife & kids humiliated. Political career in crapper. Billary running away - fast.

He ran on a platform of anti-corruption & restoring faith in gov., but apparently, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer (D) likes his willy wet at a joint called 'The Emperors Club.'

The Emperors Club reportedly arranged for female accompaniment at rates as dear as $5,500 an hour and also offered investment advice. Full service, indeed.
It's good to be the guv. Except when you're an idiot. And he's an unpopular idiot, at that. Spitzer's latest approval rating stands at 20%. Now he's got the D.A. breathing down his neck and a wifey ready to cut off that $5500 / hour finacial drain. I bet she'll sue for back wages, too. It sucks to be you, dood.

Update: The Governor just released a brief statement, acknowledging a failure to live up to his own standards and apologizing to his family. He did not announce his resignation (video), but said he would have more to say "in short order."

HA reminds us that this is the same twit who proposed driver's licenses for illegal aliens, and taxing the internet.
Mr. Spitzer gained national attention when he served as attorney general with his relentless pursuit of Wall Street wrongdoing. As attorney general, he also had prosecuted at least two prostitution rings as head of the state’s organized crime task force.
