Or would that be Clinton/Obama ticket?
Either way, it's a leftist wet dream.
Billary hints at ticket with Obama.
Obama says 'not so fast'.
I say it's almost a done deal. Chew on this: At the end of february, Obama's campaign declared it has raised more than $150 million so far. It collected $36 million in January - $28 million of that online, with 90 percent of those transactions coming from people who donated $100 or less, and 40 percent from donors who gave $25 or less . February raked in $50 million for Obama. That's a lot of contributors / voters.
Billary's numbers are equally astounding. $115 million raised in 2007 alone; $32 million for January of this year, and nearly a million per day through the internet since February 5th, 2008 - when she disclosed a $5 million 'loan' to her campaign. February's total haul came to $35 million.
It's a long way to the finish line and this is by far the most expensive presidential campaign in history. The 2004 presidential election top out at a whopping $693 million, and some experts predict 2008 will flabbergast at one billion dollars! Obama's pledge of public financing will soon be a distant memory. Billary made no such pledge. But combined, those engorged slush funds make any thing for sale.
My only comment to both these doom-n-gloom democratic socialists is, "If the economy is so bad, where the heck did all this money come from???"
Chew on that.
