For five years, the employees at a tax payer supported religious school in Minnesota 'didn't know how' to raise the American flag up the flag pole established on the school's grounds since it opened back in 2003. Did I mention it was tax payer supported religious school?
An investigative reporter at the Twin Cities Star Tribune newspaper brought the violation of state law to the public's attention earlier this week. Well, the employees at the school must have read the 'flag pole instruction manual', because, as of today, old glory is waving proud & free on the school grounds - after 5 long years. Did I mention what religion is taught at the school?
Problem solved. Thank you. But it is still a tax payer supported religious school. Where's the apoplectic, secular/aclu/slippery slope troopers to demand an end to this egregious violation of 'the wall'???
Maybe if a teacher wore a 'cross' necklace.....
