House ethics committee to investigate democrat Rep. Charlie Rangel's finances

"House ethics committee." Isn't that like an oxy-moron?

Rangel is chairman of the powerhouse Ways and Means Committee which writes & oversees the nation's tax code. Rep. Rangel is under scrutiny for possible improper use of his four rent-stabilized apartments in a Harlem, and his failure to pay taxes or report rental income on a vacation home in the Dominican Republic.

I don't have a vacation home in the Caribbean. Do you have a vacation home in the Caribbean? and how many houses, exactly, does Mr. Rangel own?? The American people demand to know...*

Politico says, "Rangel safe for now, but trouble looms."
