First Truly Global U.S. President. I'm sure his Marxist supporters would agree. And his Che supporters, too.
But the first? Really?
*FDR at the helm during global depression & a world war doesn't count?
*The vaunted JKF staring down the USSR's 'missiles of October' & nearly setting off WWIII; Inspiring a nation to space race the USSR to the moon - and succeeding? Nah. Not that global - just planetary.
*Nixon ending Johnson's vietnam war; SALT I & detente with Russia and China; Kissinger's "shuttle diplomacy" & ending an Arab oil embargo? Not too global, either, I guess.
*How about Ronald Reagan almost single handedly bankrupting & collapsing the USSR which liberated hundreds of millions of Eastern bloc people; dealing with Cuban aggression in Central America & a growing global terrorism threat from Lybia, Lebanon & Egypt? Dang it. I guess he was just a piker, too.
Yup! Put that nose in Obama's crotch. Obama is the First Truly Global U.S. President!
The barry-gasms are just beginning, folks.
I'm gonna be sick...

It's a quote from AP, not from anyone at Yahoo!. Shouldn't your commentary be AP has its nose back in Obama's crotch?
There's not anyone at Yahoo! who has the time to slant the AP to the left, assuming that is even possible.
True. It's a quote from the AP. A specious quote.
But the screen shot is of Yahoo's web site, and Yahoo has editorial control over what it features on its site.
This is simply one more example of the continuous fawning which Yahoo exhibited during the campaign.
Fawning which I tried to explain with past presidential examples as specious.
get real, "anonymous." I've been surfing Yahoo the last several days, and Broke Obaminator is splashed all over it. Yahoo has ALWAYS had its nose up Obama's crotch, and will continue to do so for four years. All of the sickeningly sweet syrup that Yahoo has been singing his praises with has given me diabetes.
Yahoo used to be my home page. Not anymore. Sickening AND stupid.
I dropped Yahoo as my homepage because of their sickening war chant for Hussein Obama. I wish I could find something to replace it, but Fox has been almost as fawning in their coverage of Hussein.
I have Yahoo as home, still.
I have Huffypoo bookmarked, also (although I've been long ago banned).
D-Kuss, too.
