A Riddle, Wrapped in a Mystery, Inside an Enigma

From perplexed AP: NY car bomb suspect cooperates, but motive mystery.

"NEW YORK -- A man accused of trying to detonate a car bomb in Times Square had found the stable, suburban life he had spent a decade working toward, then abandoned his house in Connecticut and decided to supplement his business degrees with explosives training in Pakistan, authorities say."
Thankfully, this dipstick flunked that course, but the Pakistani Taliban are still claiming credit for the attempt. Desperate is as desperate does.

The rise of home grown Muslim extremism is well documented and the surge in home grown Muslim extremists eager to join Jihad and kill Americans is alarming, but for the AP, the motivation of this Times Square car bomb suspect, Faisal Shahzad, is a mystery.

It's apparently all a big mystery to Homeland Security, too.

Perhaps if the AP put eleven fact checkers on the hunt - like they did for Sarah Palin's 'going rogue' book - then the AP might get a clue.

But the real mystery is how this Times Square car bomb suspect managed to get a parking spot on Broadway!
