O! Carnahan. O! Carnahan. How egregious is your nepotism?

Sing that to the tune of O! Christmas tree.

There's a big 'green' $300 million wind farm to be built here in Missouri and the perennially political Carnahan family (D) is poised to score big on all the money made available for such a project.

24thSate.com puts a finer point on it:

"So let me get this straight. The brother of a Congressman, son of an appointed Senator, and brother to a Senate wannabe, and son of a deceased governor managed to qualify for a big fat loan that is based on the government building new transmission lines out in Dekalb County? Funny how that works.

Here's what they don't tell you. Without the stimulus or other government funds building new power lines, this project is a dead end. Russ Carnahan voted for the stimulus."

Did he mention they're all democrats? I'm sure the Carnahans are all just thinking about the little people as they make their deposits at the bank.

And who could blame them for putting their other people's money where their convictions are? Just like former V.P. (and high priest of the Church of Glowbull Warming), Al Gore, plus John Doerr, who just happens to sit on President Barack Obama's economic advisory board. Both men are venture capitalists in Fisker Automotive, a Cali. luxury hybrid car maker, which just happened to receive a $528,000,000.00 loan from FEDS to make $90,000 per copy hybrid cars in Finland, and possibly Delaware - Joe Biden's home state.

Fisker Automotive is a two-year-old business that has yet to sell a single car.

Funny how that works.
