Liberty Dies by a Thousand Paper Cuts

FDA Calls for Salt Cutbacks
"The Food and Drug Administration, saying Americans consume too much sodium, will seek voluntary reductions by the food industry. An Institute of Medicine report calls for more expeditious action."
Voluntary reductions. Got it? So it's all good. Because this administration is completely trustworthy.
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times . . . and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK." - Barack Obama, May, 2008
Nanny knows best which light bulb you should use, the terms on your credit card, what appliance you should buy, how efficient your car should be, decide that Cheerios is a "drug", spank you with a sugar tax for drinking too much soda pop, and those cheese burgers & french fries are a big NO-NO! Besides, the First Lady says eat arugula lettuce, you bad boys n girls!

Better buy that deep fat fryer whilst nanny still lets you.
"Nothing is off the table," said FDA spokeswoman Meghan Scott. "Everyone's in agreement that something needs to be done….We just don't know what it's going to look like."
Translation: you're too stupid to decide what and how you eat.
