From Autumn MorningSky at the
KC Business Journal:
"Seasonally adjusted figures show that Kansas City employment fell by 0.9
percent to 984,700 in November, down almost a full percentage point
since October. The metro saw the same number of employed Kansas Citians
in November 2011.
...Kansas City’s construction industry took the biggest hit, falling 6.8 percent. An analyst for Associated General Contractors of America said the decrease in construction employment was probably due to the uncertainty surrounding fiscal cliff negotiations."
Thanks a pant load, you beltway buffoons.
