Pain Catches Up To Super Bowl-Winning QB

This is a rather sad attempt to further wussify the culture by Yahoo Sports' Post Game blog:
"Ten years ago Brad Johnson led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title.

Now the 44-year-old has trouble walking down the stairs at his home in Athens, Ga."
The authors go on to list a laundry list of sports injuries, pain, medication, and abuse from playing the game of football which Mr. Johnson suffers - because, you know, it's a real shocker that this is a rough cruncher of a sport that grown men willing play - and we're supposed to feel sorry for these guys.

The comments to the article caught that, with many commenters adding their own incredulous sentiments: Sorry your body is so abused, Mr. ex- super bowl winning NFL QB, but I'm ex-military, or construction, or truck driver, etc., and I've got debilitating injuries, too, from years of hard work and service, yet I didn't receive millions of dollars in compensation for playing a game.

At 44, this guy is retired, drawing disability, yet coaching his young sons play Jr. league football??

Oh, the humanity.

This article is an epic fail, and a sad attempt to further wussify the culture. I suggest the author go visit a children's cancer ward at the local hospital if he wants to write about true tough breaks in life.

Brad Johnson just ain't one of 'em.
