In short order, failed democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton issued a terse response against Biden's refusal to accept the result of the 2016 election: “That’s horrifying,” Mrs. Clinton replied. “Let’s be clear about what he is saying and what that means. He is denigrating — he is talking down our democracy. And I am appalled that someone who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that position.”
Just kidding. Clinton's terse response was made on-stage to then-candidate Trump in October 2016 during the 3rd potus debate in Las Vegas. Clinton then waxed prescient to state Trump 'would be “a puppet” of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia if elected.' Weird.
But now that it's the opposite, it's twice upon a time. Infamously tenacious, never-Trumper Allahpundit, over at HotAir.com, noticed the political hypocrisy.
In the post-Mueller environment of there ain't no Russia / Trump collusion or obstruction, and maybe it was all a set-up by the Clinton-Deep state cabal to take out a duly elected potus, Allahpundit points out the 'that’s horrifying' plethora of democrat flip-floppers who refuse to accept the results of the last election: "This is the second time in 10 days that a very high-ranking cabinet member in the Obama administration has questioned Trump’s right to hold the office that he holds. Hillary Clinton did it last week. Previously James Clapper had suggested that Russia’s interference was decisive while acknowledging that he had no empirical reason to believe that, and of course John Brennan has accused Trump of outright treason.
Meanwhile, Stacey Abrams has convinced the entirety of the Democratic Party that she’s the rightful winner of Georgia’s gubernatorial race last year, with no one daring to contradict her and risk being accused of callousness towards voter suppression.
The media routinely beats on Trump for his forays into conspiracy theorizing, from questioning Obama’s birth certificate to claiming during the campaign that the system was rigged for a Clinton win to blaming her popular-vote victory afterwards on the illegal-immigrant vote. He’s undermining the legitimacy of our institutions, we’re told, with reason. Now here’s the other party in the person of Obama’s former VP essentially claiming that he’s exercising power illegally, with hardly a peep of objection."
But my complaint is toward certain voters who are simply deluded or deranged - and possibly willfully so. Example: this woman who says Trump is ‘An Illegitimate President.’ And Biden agrees with her!
"She said that she would “like to see the party and every candidate come out with a very simple message” regarding Trump: “He won the election by 70,000 votes in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, he won it because he had help by the Russians, he refuses to do anything to stop that, he’s failing in carrying out the most basic function to uphold the Constitution, he is not defending our national security, he has no interest in doing it, I don’t want to live in a country run by Vladimir Putin, I don’t think anybody in the country should want that, I don’t understand why millions of people don’t get that message, and I think every candidate needs to pound that message home again and again and again."
This is your brain on CNN. Is her talking point babble simply stupidity, or willful ignorance? I guess she could be a campaign potted plant to pitch narrative softball for Ol' creepy Joe to plink into centerfield, but that's just crazy talk?
All I can ask is that this woman please not breed or vote.
