Why does God hate Westboro Baptist Church??

I mean, after all, the church's garage & privacy fence caught fire and burned this past Saturday morning.

And, according the Westboro hate monger church doctrine, hardship & tragedy only befall those worthy of God's wrath.

So, why does God hate Westboro Baptist Church??

And did Westboro Baptist Church protest their own just desserts??

The Westboro hate mongers claim it's a case of arson. Of course.

Thankfully, no one was injured. The Fire Marshal is investigating.

A round of schadenfreude for all!!

Westboro Baptist now Sees a 'Rainbow House' across the Street

From Gawker (with photo goodness):
So while considering the Westboro Baptist Church, he began dinking around on Google Maps late one night. He pulled up the church, at 3701 SW 12th St. in Topeka, and took a virtual walk around the block. In the front yard of a house across the street, he noticed a For Sale sign.

“It hit me right away,” Jackson told me last night by phone. “Huh. That would be interesting to own a house across from the Westboro Baptist Church and turn it into something.’ And then, within five seconds: ‘And I’ll paint it the color of the pride flag.’ Perfect.”
I think the term 'pride flag' is rather dubious, but even I can appreciate the 'thumb in the eye' toward these raucous Westboro wack-a-doodles, whom we've dealt with many times before.

Westboro turds subpoenaed by judge

Federal judge wants detailed Phelps financial data.

The matter is a $4 million question. That is the difference between what the Phelps family says it and their church is worth and the amount awarded to the family of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, whose funeral last year in Westminster, Md., was picketed by members of Westboro Baptist.
In the meantime, these westboro nutjobs are terrorizing yet another family at another funeral. This time in Houston Texas Florida.

Update: The Patriot Guard Riders (photo) respond to the westboro turds in Florida & Nevada with a courage, honor & discipline that eludes the little brown piles from Topeka.

Westboro Baptist Church: 1st Amendment Crusaders?

The city of Topeka won't force removal of vandals' graffiti from Westboro Baptist Church. City spokesman David Bevens stated that First Amendment concerns would probably outweigh provisions of city's public nuisance ordinance which require removal of such offenses from public view.

That, and there's no sense in giving these putrid cultists anymore free publicity. No arrests have been made for the vandalism.

"The red and black graffiti — including phallic images, references to God and anal sex — spanned the two-car garage door.

A disparaging reference to female genital organs was painted on a wall of the church. A swastika and other graffiti painted on the driveway and garage wall appeared to depict the church as a meeting place for the Ku Klux Klan.

While the church has repaired vandalism in the past, (Church spokeswoman Shirley) Phelps-Roper said members decided to leave this week's graffiti, calling it the "face of Topeka" and the nation.

"We've decided — in as much as we've been telling this nation that they are a rebellious, good-for-nothing group — that we are going to leave it," she said."

How laughable. An open sewer that calls itself a 'church' complaining about the town's dirty laundry. Westboro Baptist Church is infamous for celebrating the deaths of servicemen & servicewomen as God's judgment upon America for embracing homosexuality. Vandals enjoy greater respect.

Still, it points to the great strength of this nation and it's willingness to defend the right of free speech - even the most reprehensible of speech - from the most reprehensible of people who disrespect & dishonor those who would give their lives to defend that very right.

A tragic irony that I'm sure is lost on these obtuse, putrid cultists at Westboro.

Throw Down: Westboro Nutjobs VS Denial of Service Hackers

"A group of hacktivists acting under the banner, "Anonymous," has warned a church with a controversial history that unspoken retribution will follow it continues its practice of inflammatory protests.

In an open letter to the Westboro Baptist Church, Anonymous has put the anti-gay, fundamentalist church on notice that "the damage incurred will be irreversible," and that "neither your institution nor your congregation will ever be able to fully recover."
The Westboro nutjobs respond with "bring it!"

Satan says, "Great game!"

Westboro Nutjobs Plan Protest for Joplin MO this Sunday

First came the destruction. Now, the pestilence.

From Ozark First dot Com:

"(Joplin, MO) -- The controversial Westboro Baptist Church is planning to protest President Obama's visit to Joplin, Missouri Sunday.

On its website, the church writes, "Thank God for 125 dead in Joplin."

Church members claim Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has attacked them by promoting laws banning them from protesting at soldiers' funerals."
Because with nutjobs, it's all about them. And the time and money required to transport these Westboro nutjobs to their self-absorbed hate fest couldn't possibly be better spent on relief efforts.

Update: No sign of nutjobs in Joplin on Sunday, although some guy exclaimed that he had the "EF-5 jitters" upon seeing Pres. Obama in Joplin. Draw your own conclusions.

Liens issued against Westboro Baptist Church.

Finally. A good use for parasites lawyers.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett placed a lien on the properties of the church and its founder, Fred W. Phelps Sr., and ordered two of Phelps’ daughters to post cash bonds of $125,000 and $100,000 within 30 days.

The liens mean that no new mortgages can be taken out on the properties, and no money can be borrowed against the equity in them. Bennett noted that it would require “extraordinary circumstances” for the church to avoid posting a portion of the judgment.
The liens are in response to (scum sucking low life turd), fred phelps' appeal of a five million dollar judgment against his westboro baptist church. The judgment for intentional emotional distress was won by the family of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, 20, who was killed in Iraq in March 2006.
The church frequently pickets military funerals, arguing that the deaths of U.S. troops overseas are part of God’s punishment for the nation’s tolerance of homosexuality.

Like most monsters, the only way to kill it is to starve it - cut off the money!

Westboro Church members failed to post bonds

i could spit!

Two members of the Topeka-based Westboro Baptist Church have failed to post bonds needed to stay the collection of a $5 million jury award pending appeal. As of 5 p.m. Monday, the deadline imposed by U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett, the women had not posted the bonds, according to court records.

Phelps-Roper confirmed her refusal to obey Bennett’s order granting a stay and discounted that part of the proceedings. “All this collection stuff, it’s a lot of fluffy talk,” she said. “If I don’t have no $5 million, you can’t take no $5 million.”

i wonder if these low lifes can spell contempt of court!

John Roy Young funeral today in Lee's Summit, MO

Young, a 45-year-old security contractor, was kidnapped and killed while working in Iraq. Visitation is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Langsford Funeral Home on the corner of Third and Jefferson. The funeral is set to begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following at the Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery.

A side note: the scum sucking low life turds from westboro baptist church plan to be nearby to spew their cranial diarrhea.
Mike Childs, LSPD public information supervisor, said the WBC, led by Fred Phelps, sent the police department a letter informing of their planned presence at the funeral. The group's Web site lists Young's funeral on their schedule of picket events.

And judging from the traffic jam and police presence this morning, I'd say these scum sucking low life turds from westboro baptist church made good on their threat - once again proving that some folks in this world are barely more than a waste of space & oxygen.

Turds

Over there.
Across the state line.
In Kansas. I never did like Kansas all that much anyways.

It's called a church, but it ain't like no church I have known. The turds from the Westboro Baptist Church have crawled out from under their rock again, intent upon spewing their cranial diarrhea at an Amish funeral for dead school children.

Mike Gallagher tried to talk some sense into one of their piles representatives on Mike's radio show. Apparently, he was successful and points out that No Good Deed goes Unpunished.

When I managed to convince the hateful, horrible members of the Westboro Baptist Church to call off their planned "protests" outside the funerals of the little Amish girls in Pennsylvania, I didn't expect to get a ticker tape parade or anything. In fact, I wasn't looking to do anything at all except figure out how to use my radio show to thwart these people from hurting the Amish mourners any further.

But getting slammed by people who are on the same side of the ideological fence as me was pretty surprising.

The right to peaceably assemble & protest

Turn about is fair play. A "million fag march" (their words, not mine) took place in Topeka, KS this past Sunday as nearly 400 people gathered to protest ferd phelps and his 'church's' controversial message.

"I invited Westboro to come out and join us, but they didn't come," said Chris Love, organizer of the march. "I don't think what we're doing is going to change them. It's just time to show people that not everyone in Kansas is like the Phelps'."

Amen , brother.

And unlike some places in this world, no 'fatwa' will be issued for your criticism & protest of this preacher & his 'religion'.

What's that smell??!

Westboro's toilet backed up again. Oh, wait. It's Phelps' head spewing all that sewage.

Protests Over Koran Burning Kills 21, Scores more Wounded by Gun Fire

At least seven United Nations staff were murdered - two by beheading.

From the NY Times:
"Nine people were killed and 81 wounded in the disturbances, all from bullet wounds, said Abdul Qayoum Pakhla, head of the provincial health department. Kandahar has long been the heartland of the Taliban insurgency but has been relatively quiet in recent months since a surge of additional American troops arrived here.

The protests here came a day after a mob overran the headquarters of the United Nations in Mazar-i-Sharif, killing 12 people, 7 of them international staff members. The top United Nations official in Afghanistan, Staffan de Mistura, blamed Taliban infiltrators for the killings, saying the victims were deliberately murdered rather than killed by an out-of-control mob. The mob gathered after three mullahs at Friday Prayer urged action in response to the Koran burning by a pastor, Terry Jones, in Florida on March 20.

In Kandahar, several thousand young men, shouting slogans calling for death to Americans and to the government of President Hamid Karzai, were still rioting after several hours on Saturday, setting tires on fire throughout the city, burning cars and attacking journalists trying to cover the disorder. Shops and businesses were closed, and most people stayed off the street. Many of the protesters were waving the white flag of the Taliban.

The police said that some of the protesters were armed, and Afghan authorities used live ammunition on occasion to quell the disturbances, which continued all day. Of the 16 arrested, 7 were armed, officials said."
The religion of perpetual outrage strikes again.

And not because this nut ball pastor in Florida is an angry attention whore, no better than those Westboro nutjobs, or religious bigots like Bill Maher, or hate mongering 'artists' who immerse a crucifix in urine. No, killers kill because they are killers, devoted to some misguided ideology of hate and violence.

Apparently, any excuse will do.

I wonder if Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), or useful idiots like CAIR, will be as vociferous in their denouncement of this murderous violence as they are of  Rep. Peter King's (R-N.Y.) timely hearings on the threat of the radicalization of American Muslims?

Rhetorical question.

Westboro Baptist Church Hates Twitter?

The hate mongering nutjobs are at it again. This time in the land of fruits and nuts.

"Twitter should be used to tell the punks of doomed America that God hates you!"
