Scott Brown(R) even Won Barney Frank's District

That would be Massachusetts' Fourth Congressional District. Two thirds of the state was painted red by Brown's victory, and perhaps that's why Barney is now the head rat jumping off the Obamacare ship:

"If Martha Coakley had won, I believe we could have worked out a reasonable compromise between the House and Senate health care bills. But since Scott Brown has won and the Republicans now have 41 votes in the Senate, that approach is no longer appropriate."

But, in all fairness (we are nothing, if not fair, here at LB1901) Mr. Frank was making more aggressive noises along that defeatists line just 5 days ago by proclaiming, "If Scott Brown wins, it'll kill the health bill."

By golly. It's like there was so much hand writing on the wall that he knew the wall would fall down?

Ah, come on, Barney. Don't fear an agitated electorate - especially when you're up for reelection this year.

Which brings me to this lil nugget from that perennial liberal useful idiot, Jon Stewart, who, like a blind squirrel, even finds a nut once in a while: what's so magical about 60 votes when the hated boooshitler got so much more done with less?
