More gun violence & abuse at govt. schools

The tragic violence against our children continues.

I'll say it over & over again: If this horrible pattern of disfunction & violence were to occur at a church, youth organization, or private school there would be such a media scream of condemnation and cry for retribution that would have any administrator, supporter, or financier associated with such private enterprise tarred, feathered and banished to the darkest margins of society, if not imprisoned.

Yet, we the people, bow down before the alter of the NEA & tax funded ‘public’ education that includes all, offends none, accepts everything, and only occasionally assaults or murders our children, because we are an open minded, and ‘enlightened’ society.

Reason number 465 to vote SCHOOL VOUCHERS. School Shooting in Memphis.

The shooting stemmed from an argument the two students had "in the community" over the weekend, Mitchell High School Principal Daniel Ware said.
Maybe so, but this type of violence rarely happens in a vacuum. My guess is these two have a long history of altercations at the school which the administration refused to deal with effectively.
Police say the injured student had at least two gunshot wounds and is believed to be in critical condition.
No other students are reported injured.
The shooting is the second in a Memphis high school this month. On February 4th, a 16-year-old student was shot in the leg inside a classroom during an argument with another student over music.
Tragedy averted: Loaded gun taken from middle schooler.

Not deadly, but disgusting. Reason number 466 to VOTE SCHOOL VOUCHERS. Teacher busted in coke ring. She's suspended - with pay! Being a coke head must be covered in her union contract.
Irena F. Mondello, 41, was suspended with pay when officials in Laramie County School District 1 learned of her arrest, said John Lyttle, assistant superintendent of human resources for the district. She is charged with two counts each of lying to federal investigators and attempting to possess cocaine.
The most sickening thing? She's a D.A.R.E. instructor for her sixth grade class.

One horrible more before I hurl. School librarian sentenced for producing child porn with tutored 10 y.o. girl.
Anthony Baker, 36, Leavenworth, Kan., was sentenced Monday to 210 months on federal charges of producing child pornography. At the time of the crime, Baker was a librarian at Muncie Elementary School in Leavenworth, Kan., and the victim was a 10-year-old student.
No word on the rape and sodomy charges for the putrid waste of oxygen!

Your tax dollars at work, people.

I'll simply leave you with my broken record: VOTE SCHOOL VOUCHERS - VOTE SCHOOL CHOICE!
