Rising above it all

While the democrats embroil themselves in the mud, and the blood, and the beer of stranglehold politics, John McCain poses as presidential material with a surprise visit to Iraq on Sunday.

McCain arrived in Baghdad and was due to meet Iraqi government leaders and U.S. officials in the heavily fortified "Green Zone" diplomatic and government compound, U.S. embassy spokeswoman Mirembe Nantongo said.

McCain is making his eighth visit to Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion to topple Saddam Hussein in March 2003.
This coincides with Mid East trip by current V.P. Dick Cheney.

FYI: On March 15th, 1973, Lt. Commander John McCain was released from a North Vietnamese prison after spending five plus years as a prisoner of war.
