State Fails To Shred Sensitive Documents

Another reason to get off the public teet.

An investigation by a Jefferson City TV station revealed the state of Missouri failed to shred files with names, Social Security numbers and even birth certificates. The station even found entire case files from the Department of Social Services in unsecured recycling bins. Workers are suppose to shred or witness the shredding of files. A special assistant to the department's director blames job reshuffling for the failure.
Just remember, government by definition is a monopoly; doesn't create any wealth; is mostly immune from legal repercussions; and staffed, to a large extent, by union workers. You do the math.
