Despite hollyweird's version of archeology (king solomon's mines; indy jones; nat'l treasure, et al) being more akin to demolition derby than deliberate science & patient study, hollyweird does bring to the public's attention odd things from the past that would otherwise remain obscure, except to the most geekish of inbred academic communities.Take crystal skulls for example.
