It's time for the dem-socs, in general, and Barak Obama, in particular, to admit it.
That's what 'Vets For Freedom' are asking for in a new ad featuring three soldiers who were there and who testify to the military success.
But what's more, the surge has provided political & societal success for the fledgling Iraqi govt. - something Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, et al refuse to admit.
And that, again, brings their collective Judgment Under Fire.
The ad calls on Obama/Biden to support senate resolution 636 in support of the success of the surge, and to thank the troops!
Pete Hegseth, chairman of Vets For Freedom, was interviewed today (video) at the DNC in Denver about the ad.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch: Fewer Marines needed in Iraq's western province.
(Gen. James) Conway said Marines serving in Anbar told him, ``There aren't a whole heck of a lot of bad guys there left to fight.'' Driving through the once-dangerous cities of Fallujah and Ramadi, he said, ``Our vehicles seemed to go largely unnoticed as there was much construction and rebuilding taking place.''
