...you know; a socialist; anarchist; marxist; statist; etc-ist - but those types sure do glom onto him, and champion his candidacy.
John McCain just ain't their kinda guy.
DH has some thoughts on that subject:
"Everyday brings closer the reality that this man may well be our next president. As that realization closes in I find myself rationalizing the relationships in order to gain some peace of mind with just who might be running our country for the next four years — who might be the Commander-in-Chief of two American wars — all with a willing super-majority in Congress.
I almost had myself convinced that Obama used them. That he’s just another ruthlessly ambitious (not a bad quality in a president) politician who held his nose to do what it took to gain power.
No doubt this is a mental exercise much of the country is performing today as they make up their own minds.
But then along comes Governor Sarah Palin doing what she does so well; cutting to the heart of the issue and asking the only question that matters.
What do these awful and evil people see in Barack Obama?
What attracts them to him?"
