In saddam's former palace, no less!
Hoo-Rah!
It's the soldier, not the community organizer, who insures our Freedom.
And speaking of soldiers, the long time reader of this blog (thanks, mom!) knows that my kid is still in the Army. She was stop-lossed this summer, and has 12 more months of service.
She is currently on her way out of (dis?) orientation Kuwait, and onto to her duty assignment at Camp Stryker near Baghdad International Airport [BIAP], formerly Saddam International Airport.
This is her third Iraq tour, but at least this time it's not manning (womanning?) a 50 CAL in a HumVee turret on the open convoy roads.
All I ask is a little prayer for her.
