I always thought Mr. Bond to be a better Governor than a senator for Missouri. As a senator, he was too fond of the federal pork trough. But I voted for him as 'the lesser of two evils'. (I hate it when that happens.)

Maybe. Maybe. I think this is definitely the decade of 'the woman' - especially in politics - thanks to some high octane high heels from one Sarah Palin. I'm looking for outgoing Missouri State Treasurer Sarah Steelman to be an early front runner for Bond's vacated senate seat.
