The thing's manufacturer, Terrafugia, calls it 'The Transition'. Production is scheduled for 2011, and for the pocket change price of about 190 grand, you can have one.
2011 is after the 2010 mid term elections, so hopefully the adults will be back in charge and the economy much improved.
