The funny part? The hecklers employed their infantile ire at the university's "Walter Cronkite School of Journalism" - in the First Amendment Forum - during an open-to-the-public round table discussion with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
I bet that mass of irony was lost on all those heckling brown shirts.(video) I wonder how many of these entitlement malcontents will graduate "J" school to join Obama's lap dog media?
"Arpaio was responding to a question concerning allegations that he's targeting those who oppose his policies and his immigration sweeps, which have led to a Justice Department investigation. Arpaio called the conduct of government civil rights investigators unethical, adding, "My lawyers and I decided we will not deal with the Justice Department anymore."
At that point, protestors broke out in a song set to the tune of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." And things turned a bit stranger: as the interviewers appealed to the crowd to let Sheriff Arpaio finish, he put on a hat featuring University of Arizona mascot Wilbur Wildcat. Unable to convince the protestors to stop, the journalists on stage ended the interview and walked off with Arpaio."
You've a better sense of humor than I, Gunga Din.
What's not funny is this is S.O.P. for these Lefty brown shirts - shout down those whose speech they don't approve.
In Sept., 2004, Michelle Malkin was their target of a shout down when invited to speak at UC Berkley. Ann Coulter was assaulted on stage with a pie in Oct., 2004 at UA. The stage at Roone Arledge Auditorium was stormed by a vicious student mob in Oct., 2006, when Minute Man Jim Gilchrist was invited to speak by Columbia University's College Republicans.
Yet, a vile, West-bashing, holocaust denying, Jew hating, homosexual hanging totalitarian nutjob is given a fair hearing. Go figure.
Plus, there's the familiar BDS tantrums during the previous eight years: tantric bozos disrupting a swearing-in ceremony for naturalized Americans, and assaulting Sect'y of State Condoleezza Rice.
And, of course, the Left would be all too happy to shut down "wingnut radio" & "faux news", if they could. Because it's not censorship when they do it!
Hey. Guess what? Arpaio Would Be Leading GOP Contender for Ariz. Governor
