Student Shot at School; Armed Security Guard Apprehends Shooter

Thereby preventing further bloodshed. I wonder when the MSM will honor this armed security guard as a 'good guy with a gun?'

Last month, in the wake of Sandy Hook's carnage, V.P. Biden declared, “As the President said, if your actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking.”  I agree.

From USA Today:
"A 14-year-old student was shot at an Atlanta middle school Thursday afternoon, and another student was taken into custody, police said.

An armed guard disarmed the shooter moments after the 1:50 p.m. shooting in a courtyard at the Price Middle School in southeast Atlanta.

The teen was shot in the back of the head, but the wound was apparently not life-threatening, authorities said."

It appears that the victim and shooter knew each other and the violence was the result of a disagreement, possibly gang related. The suspect is in police custody. Several nearby schools were locked down as a precaution, but no further incidents were reported.

Now, Mr. Biden, about those actions worth taking - like hiring armed security guards for all govt. schools with some of the $500 million squandered - er, appropriated from the Treasury last month by Pres. Obama for 'gun control' (yet we're demanded to pay no attention to the hundreds of fully automatic machine guns controlled by A.G. Eric Holder and walked across the southern border to be used in the murder of 300 Mexican citizens).
