We all cajole and denigrate the notion of slaving away at a job, and share Tevye's daydream of 'If I were a rich man,' but there is dignity and purpose in work.
It's a dysfunctional and destitute society that has a large swath of its population living off government handouts. Politicians who foster such an economic malaise for others while they live lavishly are evil.
