House Democrats Partied in Puerto Rico W/ Lobbyists while 800K Federal Workers Go W/o Paycheck During Govt. Shutdown

Did I say partied? Worked. House Democrats worked over the weekend at a $429/night beach resort in Puerto Rico with 109 of their closest lobbyists.

This. Do more of this, Democrats. Particularly when the MSM is providing a plethora of woeful tales of deprivation about furloughed federal workers.

From Paul Bedard at Washington Examiner:  "BOLD PAC, the political arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, chartered a 737 for members, their families, and chiefs of staff to attend the weekend. The memo said the weather will be a balmy 80 degrees. The dress code is "resort casual."

According to the intinerary, the weekend was packed with free time for the members and their families on the trip.

"That ain't workin', That's the way you do it;
Get yer money for nuthin', Get yer kicks for free..."
