Sunday January 20 as the Patriots-Chiefs game ends, a #LunarEclipse will begin. This will be only the second time an @NFL game was played during a lunar eclipse. What was the other? (Unfortunately it was under a dome and so fans couldn't readily see it). pic.twitter.com/SUb0YWDi25— Dean Regas (@DeanRegas) January 14, 2019
From the Epoch Times: "The total eclipse, which will begin minutes before midnight on the East Coast and just before 9 p.m. in the West, will unfold on the day before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national holiday when most Americans have no school or work."
The best view will be in the central to southeast USA.
