So penned Melinda Henneberger on the editorial pages last Friday at my long-ago former employer, the KC Star. Her opening salvo in that diatribe is, "This is where I get off, pro-life friends. And not as in hey, thanks so much for the ride, but more like how did I miss that enormous cudgel in your pocket?"
In the sick mind of Melinda Henneberger, and other baby killing advocates, legal objection to the murder of unborn babies is an 'enormous cudgel.'
Wrong, Melinda Henneberger. It's called 'The Law.' A law passed by a duly elected state legislature to provide due process protection to the most helpless and innocent among us in order to stop the murder of the unborn. That's not an 'enormous cudgel.' That's righteous.
Henneberger goes on to regurgitate specious bromides, and a bald-faced lie to justify the murder of millions of unborn babies since the execrable Roe was opined by SCOTUS in 1973.
Your ilk have cudgeled enough babies. This brutal Missouri abortion ban is where we part ways? Hey, baby killing advocate. We parted ways 46 years ago. Good grief, you are wickedly self-absorbed.
