Your Media Lies for This Week, August 30

Naturally, MSNBC ledes the way with piss on your back, then tell you it's raining Lawrence O'Donnell: 'Source says Russian oligarchs co-signed Trump's Deutsche Bank loans'
"That would explain, it seems to me, every kind word Donald Trump has ever said about Russia and Vladimir Putin, if true, and I stress the 'if true' part of this," O'Donnell added."
Fake headline. Fake news. An out-right lie.
Within hours, Trump's lawyers sent a demand letter to O'Donnell and MSNBC for a retraction and apology or 'I'll see you in court.'

Lawrence O’Donnell Complies With Trump Lawyer’s Demand, Retracts Report On Russia-Backed Loans
It was a non-apology apology of the usual crap weasel 'I'm sorry I got caught' variety.

CNN burped up this nonsense headline, 'Washington Post: Trump told officials he would pardon them if they break the law building border wall.'
"Don't worry, I'll pardon you," Trump has told officials during meetings at the White House about the wall when aides raised that some of those orders would be illegal, according to the Post. An unnamed White House official told the newspaper that the President is merely joking when he makes such statements about pardons."
'Merely joking.' But that's not the blazing headline, now is it? Fake headline. Fake news. An out-right lie; even the 'ands' & 'buts.'

Axios: 'Trump suggested nuking hurricanes to stop them from hitting U.S.'
Another lie that references a 2017 NSC memo in which Trump asked whether the administration should bomb hurricanes to stop them from hitting the homeland.
"A source briefed on the NSC memo said it does not contain the word "nuclear"; it just says the president talked about bombing hurricanes."
This isn't a new idea. It's been around since the Eisenhower administration in the 1950's. In a tweet on Monday, Trump called the idea "ridiculous" and "I never said this. Just more FAKE NEWS!" Agreed. Fake headline. Fake news. An out-right lie.

The Washington Post burped up this incitement to violence entitled  'University psychiatrist: Trump 'may be responsible for many more million deaths' than Hitler, Stalin, and Mao'
Fake headline. Fake news. A reckless lie. I explained it all here.

NY Times: 'Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Understands Democracy Better Than Republicans Do'

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA is my only comment to such blithering idiocy.

Plus, we tackle the tough issues: "How do you know when a politician is lying?"

Sanders: China has done more to address extreme poverty 'than any country in the history of civilization'
If by that he means 'exterminating tens of millions of your fellow Chinese to get them off Mao's shining path to communist nirvana,' then sure, I guess.

Biden: Racism in US is institutional, ‘white man’s problem’
'Institutional.' That word doesn't mean what you think it means, Gropey.
