With AntiFa as their champions, if the Left truly believes this vile and dangerous rhetoric, how is this not a call to violence against a genocidal despot, his supporters, and still be on the right side of history? And if knowingly false, how can we continue to share a country with these unhinged radicals who trivialize the murder of millions for their own political agenda?
The former chairman of the Psychiatry Department at Duke University, Dr. Allen Frances, appeared Sunday on CNN’s 'Reliable Sources,' hosted by Brian Stelter. Frances burped up the usual Leftist crowd pleasers like "it was an insult to the mentally ill to compare them to (Trump)." And, "calling Trump crazy hides the fact that we’re crazy for having elected him and even crazier for allowing his crazy policies to persist."
An agreeable Stelter sat in silence as Frances went on: "Trump is as destructive a person in this century as Hitler, Stalin, Mao in the last century. He may be responsible for many more million deaths than they were. He needs to be contained but he needs to be contained by attacking his policies, not his person."
'Not his person.' *Wink, wink. Stelter offered no pushback or challenge to the doctor's dog whistle call to violence against the obvious threat to peaceful world order from #TrumpIsHitlerStalinMao. The twitter-verse didn't let it go un-noticed, as Stelter feigned ignorance about the comment.
I agree that I should have interrupted after that line. I wish I had heard him say it, but I was distracted by tech difficulties (that's why the show open didn't look the way it normally does, I had two computers at the table, etc). Not hearing the comment is my fault.— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) August 25, 2019
The Left predictably choose to downplay the vile and dangerous rhetoric from Doctor Frances, and instead focused upon the 'uproar from conservative commentators on social media;' and when 'other pundits pounced on Dr. Frances' claim...'CNN got Alex Jones banned from all social media for less than this. https://t.co/cvbr0Z6y1C— Mike LaChance (@MikeLaChance33) August 26, 2019
