Good News Round-Up

Because we can all use some good news.

Veterans Affairs reform is now reality under President Trump
"President Trump has been adamant that Veterans Affairs establish the key programs to care for both the physical and psychological wounds of our returning service members. Through taking executive action and signing bipartisan reforms into law, he has time and again demonstrated his own commitment to delivering the reforms our veterans deserve. He has also made sure the government provides them adequate resources."
Good progress toward better care for our Vets. Bravo. But I still think an entire government bureaucracy to provide for them is wrongheaded in the modern medical age. A universal medical health card (like medicare) to pay any and all treatment at any accredited doctor or hospital in North America is a much more efficient method.

While Democrats obsess over impeachment, McConnell and Trump are packing the courts for a generation.
"...McConnell is planning to confirm at least 30 conservative judicial nominees before year’s end, which will bring joy to Trump’s base and build a legacy that will outlast both of their political careers.

McConnell and Trump have already overseen the confirmation of more than 150 judges — a whopping 40 more than former President Barack Obama had confirmed at a similar point in his tenure."
Obama judges. Trump judges. It was never meant to be this way. The founders viewed the 3rd branch of government as the weakest, with neither 'force nor will.' Enforcement was conferred upon the Executive.

Yet, driven by political agenda far removed from Constitutional moorings, and armed with nationwide injunctions, and de facto legislation from the bench, the courts have usurped enormous power to neuter the other 2 branches by merely burping up opinion.

But by all accounts, McConnell, Trump, and the Federalist Society have chosen wisely with their slate of judges more concerned with our Constitution than their own personal political puffery. Let us pray...

Tulsi Gabbard Declares War on Hillary Clinton and Democrat Party Establishment
Still and again, Is Tulsi a GOP plant with a (D) after her name?

When it comes to the Supreme Court, I refuse to get my hopes up until there is an actual written opinion...
"It would only have taken four justices to take up the gun manufacturer liability case on the Supreme Court docket. The Supreme Court declined to do so. It sounds promising on DACA oral arguments today, but it also sounded promising when there were oral arguments regarding ObamaCare."

"Cherry stands by his remarks. “That’s the way I feel and I’m not changing it and I don’t regret a thing,” he said on Newstalk 1010."

Report: Trump’s Interior Department Gives Workers A Month To Relocate Out West Or Risk Getting Fired
"The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is relocating 27 employees from Washington, D.C., to the agency’s new headquarters in Colorado and another 220 to field offices out West, Government Executive (GE) reported Tuesday. The relocated employees reportedly have until Dec. 12 to agree to the move; if they don’t accept the terms, then they’ll be fired."
Job loss isn't good news, but breaking up the swamp piece by piece is good.

Chase Bank CEO – “This Is The Most Prosperous Economy The World Has Ever Seen”
I'm surprised CBS allowed this '60 Minutes' episode to air.

Trump economy is really experiencing a middle-class boom -- this data doesn't lie
"The $5,003 rise in middle-class incomes is especially impressive given that incomes only rose by $1,200 in the seven years under Obama — after the recession ended."
Yet, the perpetual Leftist liars insist 'hard-working families' are on poverty's doorstep until millionaires and billionaires 'pay their fair share.' Piss off.
