Impeachment Witness Bill Taylor Admits: I Can 'Tell You What I Heard from People'
Uh, huh.
"The top American diplomat to Ukraine admitted before the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday that he did not have firsthand knowledge of an alleged quid pro quo involving President Donald Trump. And it doesn't matter. None of it.
Bill Taylor has previously testified about an alleged quid pro quo demand from Trump to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In large part due to Taylor’s testimony, Democrats have claimed Trump planned to withhold military aid from Ukraine until that nation’s government investigated former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
While he was vice president, Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who had investigated Burisma Holdings, an energy company where Hunter served on the board.
But the U.S. military aid to Ukraine was released in September without Ukraine launching an investigation into the Bidens."
"Democrats have claimed Trump planned to withhold military aid from Ukraine until that nation’s government investigatedThat's why it doesn't matter. This is how nations do business. Nations have interests and alliances - not friends. He who has the gold (and military) makes the rules. U.S. foreign policy has been conducted in these ways since Geo. Washington got false teeth. The President is the Executive Branch, and the Executive Branch is in charge of foreign policy - not some bluebird colonel at NSA, or analyst in the basement of the White House, or an allegedly mentally ill congressman grinding political axes. Period.former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Huntera couple of U.S. citizens with alleged corrupt business dealings with a Ukraine energy company."
Radio Show host Mark Levin described it this way:
"...the allegations against President Trump don’t withstand honest scrutiny, noting that the allegations that Trump abused his power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate the Bidens and damage them politically falls apart if the Bidens actually did something wrong.Reductio ad absurdum, but it makes the point.
“Now, what if the Bidens are corrupt? I think they are; the facts suggest they are,” Levin said. “So according to the press, the Democrat Party press, and the Democrats and legal analysts, the president should ignore it.”
“Now that the president didn’t ignore it, and he said, ‘You know, you might want to look into this,’ now they claim he’s interfering with an election of a possible opponent!” Levin continued. “So my advice to Rudy Giuliani, who they’re trying to hunt down, is this: Announce you’re going to run for president. Then any effort to investigate you will clearly be an effort to interfere in your election effort.”"
Former potus Obama also made the point on hot mic back in 2012:
President Obama: "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space."
President Medvedev: "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…"
President Obama: "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."
President Medvedev: "I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you."
Faithless Democrats are cheating America and lying straight to our face.
