Morning Coffee - Leftists learn to spell 'Federalism'

Tyrant Gov Gretchen Whitmer(D) bashes Trump on NPR
"Totalitarian Michigan Governor, who is under consideration as Joe Biden’s running mate, interviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered” on Tuesday. Responding to the President claiming authority to re-open the government in a tweet, Whitmer said that “the government’s not going to be open via Twitter.”

“We’re going to have to make decisions based on the best science, the best medical advice and what’s in the best public health of the people of our individual states,” she said. “We’ve had to act unilaterally at the state level, and we’re probably the best ones to be able to make a decision when it’s time to safely reengage our economies.”"
And just like that, Leftists don't want big centralized federal government telling everyone what to do... because Federalism.

NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo(D) Threatens to Sue the White House Over a Forced State Reopening
"“We have the Tenth Amendment that is explicit. Certain responsibilities are state responsibilities. Health, welfare, quarantine, those are health responsibilities. So the president should not even think of going there.”
Cuomo also claimed the President’s statements Monday contradicted those he’d previously made, recognizing governors’ rights to steer their states as they see fit:
“You know the first position, he stepped back and said it’s up to the states. This is stepping forward and trying to step over the states which is, frankly, I think, more partisan, more divisive, and more dangerous.”"
A Leftist who invokes the Tenth Amendment means we are in the end times.

Are Missouri Gov. Parson(R) and Kansas Gov. Kelly(D) willing to team up to reopen the economy?
"Missouri Gov. Mike Parson suggested Tuesday he has little interest in working with other states on reopening their economies in a coordinated way once the coronavirus crisis has passed. “At the end of the day, you’re going to have to put your state first,” he said. “We’re going to approach that with what’s best for the state of Missouri.”

That’s the spirit, governor. We’re all in this, uh, separately.

Other states are taking a different approach. Their governors understand, as Parson apparently does not, that the spread of COVID-19 does not stop at the border. The only way to eventually reignite the economy is a coordinated approach to contain the disease while loosening the grip it has on businesses."
'Different approach.' No, they are not. The children at the KC Star editorial board are upset that Gov. Parson(R) said out loud what the people of Missouri elected him to do: Run this state in the best interest of this state - just like every other governor will do for their state.

Gee. Ya think? The only thing truly 'vile and disgusting' is if this hateful witch is not fired.
