Morning Coffee - #Liberate overtakes #Resist

*The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995 was the deadliest act of homegrown terrorism in U.S. history, resulting in the deaths of 168 people, injured more than 680 others, and destroyed one-third of the building. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 other buildings within a 16-block radius, shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings, and destroyed or burned 86 cars, causing an estimated $652 million worth of damage. Timothy McVeigh was convicted of the crime, and executed on June 11, 2001. His accomplise, Terrry Nichols was sentenced to life in prison in 2004.

*April 20th is Remembrance Day for the victims of the Columbine High School tragedy, where two students stormed into a suburban high school in Littleton, Colorado in 1999, at lunch time with guns and explosives, killing 13 and wounding dozens more in what was, at the time, the nation’s deadliest school shooting.

*On April 20th, 2010, an explosion on the BP Deepwater Horizon oil platform killed 11 workers. Afterwards, it spewed an estimated 200 million gallons of crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico for nearly three months, creating the worst known offshore oil spill. Then, quick as a wink, craven political opportunism emminated from the Obama WH with "Malia Asked "Did you Plug The Hole Yet, Daddy?"

*Story Time 1929-1936
"Regular readers know we have a small but growing collection of Great Depression-era annual reports issued by brand-name American companies, and those are the stars of this week’s Story Time Thursday. They offer a useful historical framework when evaluating the recent unprecedented monetary/fiscal policy responses to the COVID-19 Crisis. What you’ll see in these reports is what happens when policymakers don’t respond to an economic crisis until its effects are widespread."

Leftists cannot advance their agenda unless they lie.

The ever charming EBL reminds us that yesterday was Patriot's Day 2020.
"It is also the 245th Aniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord."
Plus, there's more social distancing at Florida's recently re-opened beaches than a NY subway car.

NYC subways are virus hot zone – But Trump-hating, communist mayor of NYC refuses to shut them down.
"COVID-19 has killed 68 employees to date, spokeswoman Abbey Collins said Saturday.
A total 2,496 workers have tested positive, and 4,365 are currently quarantined due to illness or exposure. Another 4,127 have returned to work after quarantines.

The councilmen also cite news reports of crowded subway cars and buses when the MTA cut service due to lower ridership: “This crowding becomes a hotspot for COVID-19 transmission and presents an extreme danger to everyone on board,” the letter says."
Yet, it's illegal for me to social distance with a mask at a deserted park or lake? #NotJustAboutaVirus

Sunlight destroys virus quickly, new govt. tests find, but experts say pandemic could last through summer

Civil rights groups sue Missouri in effort to expand absentee voting amid pandemic
"In a lawsuit filed Friday, plaintiffs led by the ACLU of Missouri asked a judge to declare that state law allowing someone to vote absentee due to “incapacity or confinement due to illness” applies to people sheltering in place."
Now do the same thing next election for the regular seasonal flu that kills 30-60 thousand Americans EVERY YEAR. #NotJustAboutaVirus

One cannot spell voter fraud without 'democrat.' The sad history of corrupt St. Louis Democrat politicians who abuse the absentee ballot process is infamous.
