The Danish Intelligence Agency said the target of the plot was Kurt Westergaard, the cartoonist who drew the Prophet Mohammad wearing an explosive turban, one of a series of cartoons published in the Danish daily Jyllands-Posten on September 30, 2005.Islamic law generally opposes any depiction of the prophet, even favorable, for fear it could lead to idolatry. I guess murder is a more preferable sin.
