Vapor trail special.
A Texas man faces charges over snake vodka. The revenuers weren't all that upset over dead rattlers, but seemed to take great offense about the man not paying for a liquor license.
"I've been with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for 20 years," Sergeant Charlie Cloud said. "This is the most bizarre thing I've been involved in."
Authorities confiscated 411 bottles of the vodka, which Popplewell was selling for $23 each.
The Texas man was selling it in the Asian community of Fort Worth where snake liquor is claimed to be a 'woody' preservative. Knock 'em stiff! Want some formaldehyde that?
