High School Class President & V.P. Suspended for Real Life Civics Lesson.
On Wednesday, at Scranton High School, there was the business of what to do about seniors Colin Saltry and Joey Daniel, who skipped a couple of classes to see Barack Obama eat waffles at the Glider Diner Monday morning and were promptly suspended upon their return.
I don't want to hear how 'rules is rules'. While their mis-adventure may have been motivated by politics of major suckage, both young men are 18 years old; legal adults, responsible for themselves.
The school needs to back off.
And - that's right - it's simply another reason to VOTE SCHOOL VOUCHERS - VOTE SCHOOL CHOICE!
