Mrs. Locomotivebreath, that smoldering, dark-haired beauty whom I'd marry all over again, is an election judge here on our side of the state of Missouri.
What you see before you is an official list from the board of elections that lists acceptable voter ID. (click to enlarge)
Some forms of listed ID makes sense:
*Drivers License with correct information;
*Social Security card;
*Passport;
*Birth Certificate with correct information, etc.
Obviously, a birth certificate when the name does not match is not valid.
Or is it so obvious? Look again at that list as to what is accepted as valid voter ID:
~Missouri Drivers License with incorrect information - valid;
~Missouri Drivers License that has expired - valid;
~Missouri State ID with incorrect information - valid;
~Missouri State ID that has expired - valid;
~Other state's Drivers Licenses or ID with incorrect information - valid (!);
~Other state's Drivers Licenses or ID that have expired - valid (!)
~Even a common utility bill (which can be fished out of the trash) is valid.
Out of state student ID is not excepted. Oh, boy.
Computer generated, forged documents. Dumpster diving document mining. Identity theft. Is it any wonder ACORN scoffs at voter ID laws?
