While it's true that weather does not equal climate, the overwhelming evidence, by thousands of reputable scientists all over the world, show Anthropogenic Global Warming is the greatest fraud in history.
Still, that not stopped the EPA from going collectively insane, and licking the jackboots of Machiavellian special interest groups, to declare a naturally occurring element in nature - CO2 - to be 'a pollutant'. Also on the EPA's AGW pollutant list are naturally occurring methane & nitrous oxide, plus man made hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and sulphur hexafluoride.
This allies nicely into Obama's plan to apply a choke collar of oppressive taxation via 'Cap & Trade' upon the World's most vibrant economy. The goal, of course, is in the name of 'fairness' to the rest of the world's economies: more tax dollars are confiscated; the gub'mint's power expands; and - through its oppressive wisdom - redistributes that money to 'less fortunate' people & economies.
Marx and Engels must be sportin' graveyard wood.
All of this totally ignores the fact that the world's two most populace nation's and major polluters, India & China, are not effected by any of this political chicanery.
Meanwhile, back in Antarctica, the ice is growing, not shrinking.
