Missouri Foster Parents Sue State Over Gun Rights

The Missouri Code of State Regulations prohibit foster parents from legally keeping a loaded firearm in their home.

From Stephen Gutowski at the Washington Free Beacon: "The couple is joined in the suit by the Second Amendment Foundation. They said the regulations "amount to deprivation of civil rights under color of law" and are similar to other laws they've challenged in Michigan and elsewhere."

Missouri is a deep red state - the 2 big eastern & western urban centers being the exceptions. I'm surprised this blatant unconstitutional regulation found its way into Missouri law.

"The couple said their goal is to change the regulations so they and other foster parents don't have to choose between being legally armed and caring for foster children."
