As the banner says, "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Comedy."

The proprietor is one Stilton Jarlsberg. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether its an alias or not. I can find no bio info about the man on his website, however there are plenty of memes and 'toons about current events which are funny and insightful.

Never Yet Melted

It describes itself as "Another Right-Wing Web Aggregator and Purveyor of Unpopular Opinions." The webmaster is David Zincavage. He's also popular on Facebooo, if you care to follow him there.

Zincavage pulls a quote from the infamous D.H. Lawrence to place atop the banner of his blog, and derive its name: "The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted." I've yet to find an 'about' page for any explanation for his fondness for the quote; quite possibly it simply provides a dauntless blog title.

Those are blog post titles. It's an obviously eclectic blog; highly entertaining, and always informative, with a very, very extensive and well-organized blog roll.

The Other McCain

The blog title is often acronymed as simply 'TOM.' The opening tagline up top warns you to hang on tight: "One should either write ruthlessly what one believes to be the truth, or else shut up." — Arthur Koestler

The 'other' is Robert Stacy McCain. His 'about' page states, "Robert Stacy McCain is a veteran journalist and conservative commentator who is also a public speaker, author and communications consultant. He is a frequent contributor to The American Spectator and is co-author (with Lynn Vincent) of Donkey Cons: Sex, Crime, and Corruption in the Democratic Party (2006, Nelson Current).

 The People's Cube. It's satirical website created Oleg Atbashian, an American writer and graphic artist. Rush Limbaugh described the website as “a Stalinist version of The Onion.”

Atbashian was born in June, 1960, in Cherkassy, Ukraine, which was then part of the totalitarian Soviet Union. His writings present a view of America and the world through the prism of his Soviet experience. Atbashian is the author of 'Shakedown Socialism.'
